SUCCESS STORIES & VALIDATIONS

I receive success stories all the time from people who have watched my reviews or have had questions answered by me and because of that, they have successfully made the transition to vaping or continue to vape.

I also receive some very nice emails from folks who thank me for what I do. I very much appreciate these as well.

They give me the encouragement and the pat on the back that validates what I’m doing and makes all the time and effort involved worth while.

These are my trophies proudly displayed. This is what it’s all about. This is why I do what I do.

To those of you who have written me and allowed me to post your stories… Thank you!
To those of you who need encouragement… I hope some of these stories give you what you need.
To me… These give ME encouragement to continue doing what I do. So I THANK YOU again!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the work you’re doing. I just read the
“about me” and thought I’d let you know how much you’ve helped me out. I watch your
reviews all the time, both for entertainment and information. I’ve been a vaper for
only about 3 months now, after being a two pack a day smoker for the past 19 years.
Vaping helped me quit and you taught me how to enjoy it as much as I do. You’re
doing a great thing. I’m pretty sure we live in the same area. Maybe one day I’ll
run into you at a vape show or something and I’ll get to shake your hand.

Phil Busardo,

I started Smoking when I was 13………

Around the age of 28 I picked up one of the initial cigarette automatic devices, and
could not find any enjoyment in it. Went back to analogs for five years and ended
up overpaying for an L-Rider at a mall kiosk . The technology and flavorings had
advanced so much that I was able to go from roughly 1 pack per 3 days to pure vaping
bliss walking out of the mall (91 days as of this communication)

……… and stopped when I was 33.

Scouring the internet for information led me to your videos. I have got to say,
IMHO, you are bar-none the best reviewer around. I always believed I was merely
projecting, but for some reason I always belied you were a fellow EE by training (I
am). After reading your info, my assumptions were well founded (It was something
about how you knew what the duty cycle of a circuit was).

I wanted to share my story with you and to let you know that I totally dig your
videos man.

AWESOME JOB!

Hello Phil;

I just wanted to let you know how much I’ve been enjoying your videos lately. I’ve
been on and off E-cigs for a few years now, being mostly disappointed by gas station
and stop-and-rob junk and getting annoyed and frustrated, jumping back into analogs
time and time again. I decided to get back into it again after doing a little bit
of homework.

Part of that homework was spending a lot of my evening weekends watching your videos.

Thanks for all the work you’ve put into it, you’ve made things a whole hell of a lot
confusing for this (old) noob.

Regards,

Karl

Hey Mr. Busardo-

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your online videos and this website.
While not a complete newb, I was not aware of just how developed the vaping scene
is and what is now so easily available. For once California is behind the curve.

I switched to vaping just over a year ago, and the difference it has made in my
ability to enjoy the outdoor activities I love is amazing. Before vaping it would
take me 4 stops to catch my breath over a 1.5 mile walk to my favorite fishing spot
at the lake which is at 8k feet. Now I make one stop and it’s just for water.

Oh how I wish I had known about your site and the reviews on YouTube! I started
with an ego style rip-off (SmartSmoke) and got frustrated with their products
inability to stay in one piece… The glue they used (at the time) to put the
ego/510 connection and the battery together didn’t have the thermal properties
required to withstand my vaping, and simply came apart. After two disasters and $$
on their gear, I created my own device that ran directly from either USB or wall
using the ego/510 connections that had come off the SmartSmoke devices. I had no
idea how anything really worked and was just happy to make the CE’s work.

After watching all your available videos I think now if I had to I could build a new
mod it would be a much better professional device. But I opted to go commercial and
get myself an SVD based on your review. I liked the fact that there are multiple
buttons and battery configurations and that it looked either like a light saber
(Star Wars Fans) or a Sonic Screwdriver (Doctor Who Fans). I agree the LCD leaves
something to be desired but not having to go through a menu system is worth the
trade off.

I chose to purchase mine from the FastTech site which I am sure you have heard
about. (The controversies over real or not real devices) and while I don’t have a
model directly from Innokin, this one I am using looks exactly in every way as if it
came from them. I know they are both Chinese companies and it is a funny idea of
them ripping themselves off…

Anyway this has gotten way longer than I anticipated or I am sure you wanted to
read. If you got to the end congratulations, you have won nothing more than my
eternal gratification.

Thanks again!

James

I was a pack-a-day Newport smoker with no intention of quitting, My job does not
always allow me a “break” to smoke and was looking for a way to just cut down my
analog use. Initially I gravitated to alternate combustible items like cigars and
pipes (while not being good, are still better than cigarettes ***my previous
mentality). So there I was substituting cigarettes for cigars. While looking on
Google for a pipe tobacco called Hobbit’s Weed, I stumbled on an Ejuice called Shire
Malt by Epipemods which sounded tasty. So I started pondering, back in 2006 I
attempted to “cut down” with a no name electronic cig-a-like branded “the Smoke
Shop” (think it was a 2 piece 901 or 801). The batteries lasted like 10 minutes, the
Cartos were dry after 3 puffs, needless to say it didn’t work so i returned to full
time analogs. on May 3rd, 2013 I looked up ecigs on youtube and found some great
personalities, Grimm Green, PBusardo, Vaping Greek, etc. and started to watch the
videos and found in the last 7 years the technology of the electronic
cigarette/Personal Vaporizer has grown by leaps and bounds. Based on a few reviews
and my bad experiences with cig-a-likes in the past I decided to get a beginners
starter kit, so I purchased an ego-T kit and a Halo Triton kit (in retrospect, a bit
overkill and wasted $$). I received these kits in the mail along with a sampler from
Epipemods. That was over 3 months ago and have not smoked an analog since, and have
no desire to start again. If you would have told me 4 months ago I would be quitting
I would have laughed at you, yet by accident and some great products here I am. Now
i too have evolved past the Ego’s and are now using a vv/vw devices for my daily
vape, and have even dipped my toe in the mechanical mods. I share this story with
all smokers who have attempted to vape and failed. It is imperative you find the
right device, right delivery system and right ejuice, and it will be easy. the first
week I was doing the combo, smoking and vaping, after the first week my taste buds
decided cigarettes just taste like crap. I’ve managed to turn my wife and
brother-in-law over from analogs by sharing all the knowledge I have gained by
watching your videos (wish I would have know in ’06). While I have wasted some
money on my own R&D, I’m still in the black compared to my cigarette expenses, Some
products are hit and miss, and I have a whole drawer full of clearos, cartos, and
eliquids I’ll never use, I look forward to watching your videos and seeing the
newest and coolest products and your opinions on them prior to biting the bullet
and it has helped immensely. Keep up the good work, keep cranking out the vids, and
thank you for the quit assist.

Hi Phil,

I want to thank you for your wonderful contribution to the vaping community and to
tell you how I got started.

I have tried the patch several times, the gum several times and Wellbutrin several
times with poor results.

This is how I got started Vaping instead of smoking.

One Friday last February my wife said she wanted to start juicing to help her lose
some weight and we were going to get one on Saturday so I spent till 2:00AM
researching on line and Taste Your Juice came up several times. I wasn’t
interested at the time so I didn’t pay much attention then but the following
Monday, while shivering outside, having a smoke, one of my coworkers was vaping with
an Ego battery and CE4 clearomizer.

I asked her if that was working for her and she said it was and I remembered Taste
Your Juice so when I got home I took a closer look and was dumbfounded, I couldn’t
believe how much thing had changed from my first attempt with an electronic
cigarette.

That Friday I stopped at Freedom Smoke USA in Holland Michigan, just 3 miles from my
house, and got setup with an Ego battery, charger, CE4 and some E-liquid. My wife
looked at me as though to say, right, another gadget that’s not going to work.

The first week I still smoked as well as vaped and instead of going through 1-1/2 to
2 packs a day I smoked 2 packs over the course of the entire week and have not
gotten another pack since.

So my wife decided that this might just work after all and we both went back to
Freedom Smoke USA and she bought herself a complete Ego kit. We’ve both been smoke
free since the first of March.

We showed these to my daughter and son in-law and now they are smoke free as well.
You can chalk up four more that you helped quit the smoking habit.

Thank you very much.

Just wanted to drop a line to say thanks. I’m only vaping 5 months and was
drowning in all the terminology . I find your reviews to be helpful & entertaining.
Pity you won’t be at vapefest Ireland , I’d have bought you a pint lol

Mr. Busardo,

After smoking cigarettes on and off for the last 10 years I decided I needed to make a change. Two of my friends had purchased vaping kits and told me I should give it a try. After doing some initial research I came across your website and youtube videos. They were very helpful when it came down to buying my first set up; an ego v 650 with an artemas tank. I have since upgraded to an ego v mega. During a recent raffle at a local vape shop I was lucky enough to win a smoktech natural. The first thing I did after being notified about the prize was go to your youtube page and see if you had posted a review on it. Lucky for me you had one up that contained some good information. Since I now have a mech mod I knew my next step was to purchase an rba. I knew that I didn’t want a dripper and preferred something with a tank. Your review on the smoktech rsst was very insightful and helped me decide that it would be my next purchase. I’m really looking forward to my next step in vaping. It has now been about 1 1/2 months since my last cigarette and I have no desire to light one up again. I am now hooked on the vaping experience and truly enjoy it. Thank you for all the great information, video reviews, and honest opinions that are contained within them. I look forward to your future reviews on products as I know they will once again help me on deciding what my future purchases will be. Keep up the great work!

FROM A MEDICAL STUDENT

Hey Phil!

Just wanted to give you a major THANK YOU! I’ve been watching your videos since late December of last year! I’m in a combined medical program and so smoking cigarettes are heavily looked down upon! My roommate smoked upwards to half a pack a day, but he’s only 20, and that’s definitely not a life style I want to see him adopt! He found the Blu ecigs, and we both got a pack, but those just weren’t very quality in our opinion. Our other friend introduced us to the world of vaping, and we’ve been there since! I recently helped my roommate buy his first PV (an ego twist) and he’s loving it! I gave my other ego style PV to my girlfriend, and she’s loving it too!

I start school again in a few weeks, and am thinking of getting another PV for myself! I’ve been watching and will continue to watch your videos to make my decision! So far, I’ve been thinking about the iTaste VV 3.0, and I know you said it doesn’t put out there the advertised voltages, but at the voltage I typically use, and the resistance of the tanks I use, it almost nails what I need! And another thanks for helping me find one of my favorite eliquids, Boba’s Bounty!

Keep up the excellent work, Phil! I know you’re helping tons and tons of people make the switch to PVs! I know Facebook says this will go to your “Other folder” because we aren’t Facebook friends haha but I still hope you get a chance to see this message!

Hey Phil,

I just wanted to shoot you a quick message to say thanks. I logged on to this
website for the first time tonight and I am absolutely blown away! I am really
grateful that you are not only informative with all the different types of systems
in devices, but also that you present the information in a clear, concise and
professional manner. I’ve learned a lot about what is available on the market, and
the ways that I can tailor my eCig to match my taste. I can tell that you love what
you do. Keep it coming my man. Thanks again.
