I receive success stories all the time from people who have watched my reviews or have had questions answered by me and because of that, they have successfully made the transition to vaping or continue to vape.
I also receive some very nice emails from folks who thank me for what I do. I very much appreciate these as well.
They give me the encouragement and the pat on the back that validates what I’m doing and makes all the time and effort involved worth while.
These are my trophies proudly displayed. This is what it’s all about. This is why I do what I do.
To those of you who have written me and allowed me to post your stories… Thank you!
To those of you who need encouragement… I hope some of these stories give you what you need.
To me… These give ME encouragement to continue doing what I do. So I THANK YOU again!

Hi Phil,
I am writing you to say that i really enjoy your reviews and I found them very
informative. I started out with logic ecigs, then moved to the halo system which I
still use and now I bought the Sigelli Zmax V5. I went with the Sigelli because of
your review of V3. I am now 2 years analog free and I feel great and I love vaping.Anyway just wanted to say keep up the great reviews.
Vape on!

If you ever said to anyone “If I can make a difference in one life….”,
then you can say it with confidence because you made a huge difference in mine.I was smoking for 45 years (1.5 paks a day). When on a whim, I picked up a Blu.
Hated it! I knew there had to be more. Then I found your videos and ran to a vape
shop.Haven’t touched a cigarette since. Now, I’ve got a Genesis RBA coming and looking
forward to building my own coil.Thank you Phil (hope I can call you that), You are surely making a difference in the
world around you.Regards,
Dorian
From “Papa John”
My story is quite similar to all of my age group which is 68+.
I started in 1960 at 15 in high school to be cool, but was not an everyday smoker until being invited to join the Army in April 1969. It was basic training and the DI said take a smoke break. I didn’t smoke so I was standing with the smokers under a tree when the DI noticed I others were not smoking. He asked how many were not smokers, several of us raised our hands. He informed us that we were instructed to take a smoke break, so we non-smokers got to rake the parking lot while the smokers took a break. The next time he said take a smoke break, I bummed a cigarette and the rest is history. In those days we got free cigarettes from Tobacco companies, the USO and they had a five pack in the C-Rations too. I was finally able to quit tobacco on 2 June 2011, after several attempts at quitting (The gum didn’t work and the patch worked for a short time, twice. The third time is was a complete bust. I even tried hypnosis, no long term success until e-cigs.) because of two things; My wife asked me to do it for her and e-cigs.
I started at 24mg nic, then 18, then 12. 12mg is where I am and some 6. Depends on the device I use.
I don’t even desire a cigarette, and now to tell the truth, they stink, especially on a damp or rainy day. I wish we had more politicians/celebrities that gave up tobacco for e-cigs. Then we could have a better chance of stopping the stupidity of limiting/banning/taxing e-cigs.
As always, enjoy life.
The best to you and yours.

Phil,
I understand that you are probably really busy, so I am going to keep this short. I
just wanted to say thank you for your help in my journey. You do an incredible job
of making, what can be an overwhelming learning process, more accessible while still
giving a ton of detailed info that I appreciate as I have gotten more comfortable,
and your sense of humor makes it even better. As a guy that did a short stint of
Cigar reviews on a web site I had, I know the amount of work and dedication that
goes into this. It is GREATLY appreciated. Keep up the good work. If you are ever
anywhere near STL, look me up. I owe you a beer.Jason

Hello,
Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you I enjoy your videos and they are very
informative. I am 40 years old, started smoking when I was 16. In my mid 30’s I
quit smoking for a while. Then I started dipping….then I started smoking when I
drank which snowballed into smoking more than when I was drinking plus dipping.
Bad, bad, bad! A friend started using an e-cigarette and suggested that I stop by
a newly opened vape shop in our area. I went there on December 28th before going
on a little get away with the family. I purchased a e-Go twist and Protank 2. I
started using it and still used the dip a little. On December 30th I threw away
the can of dip I had and haven’t looked back. It has been 3 weeks since I have
used any tobacco products. I went back to the vape shop and purchased a iTaste
SVD and another Protank and I can say because of your videos as well as others on
Youtube I am hooked on vaping and can honestly say I don’t miss the tobacco.
Thanks again for your informative videos and keep it up! Thanks again!!

Hi Phil,
I wanted to give a huge Thank You to you for your reviews and videos. I wish I had something like this when I first started out. I had to simply learn by doing/trying, which unfortunately had quite a few no so good outcomes. We’ve all had those, right?
I had been struggling with the Vaping and Smoking thing since electronic cigarettes came out in its infancy many … many moons ago. I decided to start vaping after my battle with a very aggressive form of thyroid cancer. I have been thankfully in remission for almost three years now. I was an on and off vaper because I could simply not find something that satisfied my cravings. I am proud to say that because of watching your reviews and your journey, I have been off traditional tobacco cigarettes for nearly a two months now.
I have become so entwined with vaping that I even make my own e-liquids. I have a group of friends that own their own brick and mortar shop and brand. They enjoy my liquids so much that they have asked me supply them a few flavors regularly. Your passion for vaping and quality has inspired me to possibly even open up my own online juice store with a focus on quality I can be proud of. I’m not entirely sure that I will pursue that road with everything going on in D.C., but I am strongly considering it based on what I hear from feedback.
Shesh; this went on longer than I thought for a simple thank you. So Thank You Phil for all of your reviews. I look forward watching your journey continue as I embark on my own. Who knows, perhaps I will be asking you to review my e-liquids someday. Take care and I look forward to seeing the upcoming videos.

Phil,
First let me say I was a smoker for about 17 years and tried to quit smoking in just
about every way possible for the last 10 years. Patches, gum, and cold turkey were
all tried, but none were successful. Then I saw a very simple ego kit being sold at
the gas station down at the corner, and figured lets give e-cigs another try, even
though the ones that looked like cigs, ala blu, didn’t work 2 years ago for me. OMG
what a game changer it was for me!!!!! My one resolution for this year was to get
healthier and that first step was to quit smoking. Well it’s been 3 weeks and no
cigarettes. I know its still early for me, but when just the smell of smoke on
persons clothing makes me a little sick, that is more than a positive sign. My
energy level is up, I sleep better and I can already tell things taste and smell A
LOT better. The other big advantage I have found is just the cost. I was spending
well over 120 on smokes a month and now a 10 mil bottle of juice last me a week and
at 9 bucks per bottle that savings is awesome. I just started looking into Mods,
clearomizers, RBA’s, and other tech out there and have found your reviews to be
extremely helpful and informative. I am a bit of a tech junkie and can tell the
extra cash I am saving from vaping will soon be going to all the shiny toys out
there. Your website is also a wonderful location for anyone to get started vaping
and has some of the best info on the subject I have found out there, and will be
recommending it to people I know that are looking for a way to get off of the cancer
stick. Keep up the great work advocating for this safer alternative to smoking.P.S. I saw you are coming close to my neck of the woods on Feb 19th down in
Chattanooga, I hope to make it down there from Knoxville so I can shake your hand
and thank you in person for the help you have given me in starting down this
wonderful world of vaping.

Typically, I post these in the “Success Stories section. But I can hope that Paul’s story, condition, message, and upbeat attitude can influence others as to why and when to quit smoking.
Hey Phil,
Thank you first for inspiring me to learn a higher level of vaping as far as
builds and devices.
But this letter is a hopefully short letter to tell you how i started vaping.
Last April I was diagnosed with lung cancer after 49 yrs of smoking. This was
on top of emphysema so I knew my road would be bumpy to say the least. The
doc asked if I smoked and laughing said yes. He said I need to quit smoking!
Of course I asked the same question anyone would “isn’t that like shutting the
door to the barn after the horse escaped”! Of course I just laughed. But he
said my treatment would be easier if I did. Well I went to Walmart and got some
fifty dollar kit and it took away my craving without having to quit smoking.
From there I went to ego style system and then an evic. I’m hooked on vaping.
I research all I can on your site and YouTube.
I wish I found this earlier I only have 6 to twelve months to live. But not
smoking has me feeling so much better. I can run up stairs and my mate admires
my stamina lmao.
I guess if there’s a message here its that there is no “too late” to quit smoking.
My quality of life is so much better since I found this alternative in April.
Thanks again Phil for all your helpful info. Oh BTW I did get that Aspire
Nautilus tank yesterday and my Hurricane Vanilla Sky is rocking it in that topper.
I know I’ll break that glass though!Paul
Paul, my message to you… keep vaping, keep running up those stairs and keep LMAOing!! Thank you for your story.

Long time listener, first time caller. lol
I wanted to drop you a brief (or maybe not so brief) message of thanks.
I just passed my 550th day of vaping & I have to give you & GrimmGreen some credit,
without the both of you. I don’t know if, I’d still be on the journey that is
vaping.
I started off using a 901 analog battery & some horrible juice from china. Now I’m
using a MVP2 with a Russain 91% & making my own DIY juice.
I decided to make the switch for my daughter Keira & I’ve never looked back, even
when devices & toppers were not living up too what I wanted from a vape.
I found myself on Youtube watching Yours & Grimm’s videos. They gave me a great
resource to find, what I was looking for.
It.s a hobby (can.t think of a better word to use) that I really have come
to believe in. I’ve even turned a few of my friends on to vaping (with varying
success). So I, along with so many others before me. Would like to say a deep heart felt Thank
you, for all the work you do.I chose to make the switch from analogs & with yours & Grimm’s help during the
frustrating times. I have been able to break free from a 17 year smoking habit & now
feel better about being here for as long, as I can for my Daughter Keira. All the best & thank you again
