THE FINER THINGS…
Some people buy Bic pens, others will only write with a Mont Blanc. Some people will tell time perfectly with a Casio and others will only stare down at a Rolex or a Hublot. Some people will be happy driving their Hyundai to 7-11 to get their Slurpee and others jump in their Ferrari, Lamborghini or Bugatti.
With all things, there are great price ranges and selection for you to choose from. Vaping is no different. There’s something out there for everyone.
You can get an amazing vape in the $30-$50 range these days. But for those who like the finer things, Crovape has you covered.
From their $80 Crotip drip tips to their $450 base Cromod to their $4,700 Cromod VIP Swarovski Crystal version to their $313,370 (yes… three hundred thirteen thousand, three hundred seventy dollar) 15 carat diamond encrusted Cromod mechanical, these are among some of the most beautiful and finest mechanicals I’ve seen.
Crovape is a Croatia based company with the ultra high end market in their sights.
Will these vape THAT much better than less expensive mechanicals? No. But then again, how much better will you be able to read a sentence written with a Mont Blanc over a Bic?
I was able to get an interview with this company at VapeJam UK, and they were kind enough to supply with a unit to review (no, not the $200,000 model… DAMN! 🙂 ). Look for that interview along with the review coming soon.

NEW IN THE QUEUE – 5/1/15 – THE IPV4 BY PIONEER4YOU
As you’ve probably noticed items are being added to the queue a lot faster than they’re making it out and with the summer upon us, the queue is pretty much shut down until I can catch up or potentially return some product that you have little interest in. From this point on, it’s gotta be pretty “vape-shattering” to make it in.
Folks, I live in Rochester, NY. We get about 3 solid months of summer, and of those 3 months, about 10 sunny days. 🙂
So anyway… here it is, the IPV4. This one features temp control and I was a bit surprised to see joules until I realized it’s powered by the Yihi SX-330 V4S board.
In wattage mode it will fire up to 100 watts and down to .1 ohm. In joules (temp) mode it’s down to .12 ohm which I also found a little surprising and somewhat disappointing. I found the .065 ohm recommended resistance of the SX-350J much more reasonable to deal with when it comes to NI200. I saw that .12 ohm spec on the Eciggity site, but the good news it that I was able to fire a .07 ohm NI200 build without issue, so perhaps the spec is incorrect or outdated at this point.
It uses two 18650 batteries and has a magnetic cover. Oh… and by the way… it’s pretty darn big!
A few things concern me with this piece. First of all don’t be fooled by the photos you’ll see below. The screen is dim, I mean REALLY dim on the one I have. I’ve never seen a screen this dim indoors. I had to crouch under a counter to see it when I was doing the resistance lock. I guarantee you it will be virtually impossible to see in bright sun light.
Second, I’ve seen this device being advertised with USB charging. The device does have a micro USB port on the bottom and comes with a micro USB cable, however, I can’t get it to charge from this port. I do get a computer connection sound as the firmware is user upgradable. I’m looking into this.
Third, I do see, what I believe to be, a 9V charge port on the front under the 510 connection. I went to the P4U website and they’re calling it a “3.5mm Cyclo charging port”. Note that no cable was provided for this port. I know a similar port on the IPV3 was deemed dangerous. As a matter of fact, the V1 of the IPV3 had the port, the V2 plugged the port, and the V3 removed the port entirely. If we have the same thing happening here, and I’m not saying it is, it’s an instant thumbs down from my perspective. But that’s not going to stop folks from picking this up, so let’s find out more about that port before using it. I’m looking into this as well.

Sigelei finally added some pizazz to their relatively plain box mods. Two breathtaking squiggly lines adorn the front cover (hey, at least it’s something right?).
This one is powered by a Yihi SX-330 board, comes with a protective skin, fires up to 50 watts and down to .2 Ohms.
Although you’ll see a screw on the battery door in the photos, it can be removed and the door will be held in place with magnets, although not very security.

Ok, so it’s kinda a plain and boring box, but finally… FINALLY… a user interface that DOESN’T LOOK LIKE A DNA!! Some will think the color display and functions are cheesy, I’m just happy to look at something different!
This one fires up to 50W and down to .3 ohms. It uses a single 18650 battery and has a micro USB charge port on the bottom.
Additional Specifications (I left the grammar alone, but you should have seen this mess before I ran spell check 🙂 ):
1. Energy-saving: Shut down automatically.The system will turn into sleeping mode when there isn’t any operation in a certain time.Other operation will be woken up automatically when you vape next time.

NEW IN THE QUEUE – THE MVP 3.0 PRO & THE COOLFIRE IV BY INNOKIN
I received two new product offerings from Innokin. The new Coolfire IV and the MVP 3.0 Pro.
I personally love the look, finish, and quality of the new Coolfire. I think they hit it out of the park with this design. It’s only slightly larger than the iStick 30 and supposedly has the same battery cell. Just wished the fire button was on the slant rather than the flat section of the control surface. It would make firing it a more comfortable and ergonomic experience. She’s a 40 watt device capable of firing down to a .2 Ohm (.3 recommended) load.

The MVP 3.0 Pro, I’m not so sure about. Why? I think there are those people who like you to know they’re using something different than you, or they have more watts than you. With the MVP 3.0 Pro, it’s very difficult to tell it apart from the MVP 3.0 without looking at the logo on the side. Still a rock solid piece with a huge battery, 60 watts of power, .2 Ohm capability, & power bank capability, but I think they needed to change the look a bit from the MVP 3.0.
