INNOKIN ANNOUNCES THE EZ.TC
Here’s an initial photo and some additional information for you:
The new Innokin EZ.TC ultra compact vaporizer is small, sleek and smart. Turn the dial to vape from four optimized temperatures and enjoy perfect full clouds of flavors with trusted Dry Hit Prevention.
The advanced temperature control EZTC technology is paired with the new Innokin iClear20D Tank and Stainless Steel coils. The 20D Tank is crafted with high quality stainless steel and Pyrex Glass and has an easy to use top fill and leak resistant cover design.
For optimal temperature control and harm reduction, the iClear20D Coils are built with Stainless Steel wire and organic cotton. They also use nonstandard threading for more frequent calibration and an overall better vaping experience. If the 20D coil becomes dry, then the device will decrease the output to limit & prevent burning while reducing exposure to harmful byproducts.
The Innokin EZ.TC is available in 7 beautiful and durable finishes (Green, silver, purple, red, black, gold, blue) with an integrated 1500mAh battery (charged via microUSB) and has over-discharge, device overheat, short circuit, low resistance, and firing cutoff protections.
KANGER ANNOUNCES THE AEROTANK PLUS
I get really happy in the pants when I see new MTL gear (yeah, that’s all it takes these days. 🙂 )
I know nothing more than this tank than the poster I’m about to show you…
NEW IN THE QUEUE AND PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENTS
I have a bunch of New In The Queue and a few new product posts to make today.
As expected, the products are pouring in as manufacturers scramble to make the 8/8 date.
The bad news is that there is no way I can review all of these items in a timely manner for you while being as complete as I like to be.
The good news is that I can at least show you them in these posts with information and photos.
The additional good news is that this should slow down post 8/8.
The additional bad news IS the 8/8 date.
I’ve heard that the FDA regulations will stifle innovation. This is something that I don’t fully agree with. Perhaps here in the US, but the US is just one market in the much larger planet Earth.
Innovation in the vaping world will continue, new products, new features, new ideas will continue to be released. OUR access to and the availability of these product HERE, however, remains to be seen, and that is very unfortunate… to say the least.
How many will die due to the actions of the FDA also remains to be seen.
I guess our lungs, health, and well-being isn’t very important to the FDA or they would certainly rethink their ways.
Please take the time to support vaping in any way you can. Get involved, join CASAA, listen to the calls to action and act on them, make donations, write letters, make phone calls, listen to advocacy shows… whatever you can think of, whatever you can do, whatever you can afford to do… do it.
Let’s do everything we can to keep vaping around and to continue to save lives.
A BATTERY MOOCH POST: Batteries are married to each other, not to the mod
Ignoring whether marrying your batteries is really necessary or not, ANY set of married batteries can be used in ANY mod as long as you’re not exceeding the limits of the batteries.
It doesn’t matter if you’re moving them from a series mod to a parallel mod, or vice-versa, the batteries won’t care. They don’t know what type of mod they’re in or how that mod is wired up.
You can remove any number of batteries from a married set and still use that set. For example, you can take one battery out of a married set from a 3-battery mod like the Reuleaux RX200 and use the remaining two married batteries in a 2-battery mod like the H-Priv.
Just don’t try to add batteries to a married set. They all need to be married from the start.
A BATTERY MOOCH POST: Can I use battery X in mod Y?
I’m often asked this question, or a variation of it. Can a certain battery can be used in a particular mod or type of mod? Especially for mods like the Noisy Cricket and other mechanical mods.
The answer is easy…you can use ANY battery in ANY mod as long as it fits and your power setting (for a regulated mod) or coil resistance (for an unregulated/mechanical mod) doesn’t exceed the capability of the battery.
You don’t need a Sony VTC5A or LG HB6 if you’re using 0.2 ohms coils, or higher, in a single battery mechanical mod. Or if you’re using 0.4 ohm coils, or higher, in a Noisy Cricket. You’ll be drawing less than 20A and can easily use 3000mAh HG2’s, 30Q’s, or VTC6’s instead and enjoy the extra vaping time before needing to recharge.
It’s the same for regulated mods. There’s no need to use high amp-rated batteries like the VTC4, VTC5A, or HB6 in mods like the RX200 because you can’t draw more than 23A from the batteries. Any good 20A battery can handle that since it’s pulsed.
This holds true for any mod, power setting, or coil resistance. What matters is matching your battery’s true capabilities to the way you vape. But be aware of exaggerated battery ratings!

NEW IN THE QUEUE – THE ASPIRE EVO75 KIT – 7/20/16
Here’s a new 75W box mod from Aspire called the NX75 contained in the Kit called the EVO75. The NX75 is also available separately in a few different forms… NC75-Z (die cast Zinc Alloy version included in the kit), NX75-S (CNC Stainless Steel version) & NX-75-A (CNC Aluminum version).
While not the most ergonomic device out there, it does have a clean look and feels really solid, although the battery door has a little more up and down play than I’d like.
I’m digging the bright and clean screen layout and the additional buttons to get you through the settings a bit faster. It comes in black, silver, red, and white.
Looking forward to trying out and scoping the “Customizable Firing Button Profiles (CFBP) which allows the heat ramp-up (power curve) to be fine-tuned.
The kit comes with the Atlantis EVO tank which appears to be more geared towards direct lung. Also, they own a battery factory… why not include one? So few devices come with batteries it would have been nice to see this one include an Aspire battery. That would have made for a more complete kit and given the Aspire cell more publicity.
I know, I know… gotta keep the cost down.
Here’s some more information for you…
The EVO75 Kit is the must-have sub-ohm vaping system from Aspire. EVO75 packs two new vaping heavy hitters: Atlantis EVO tank & NX75 Mod.
The Atlantis EVO tank has an optimized design which allows high VG E-Liquid an even faster route to the coil system. EVO breathes without a hitch when you require thick dense vapor production. The EVO75 kit comes with both 0.4Ω and 0.5Ω sub-ohm coils for an optimized vaping experience.
The die-casted NX75-Z mod by Aspire features refined lines and high-level design accents throughout the design. The five button system is ultra-intuitive with one-button navigation between Temperature Control and Wattage mode. The NX75 series mods feature an all-new Customizable Firing Button Profiles (CFBP) function. CFBP allows for heat ramp-up (power curve) to be fine-tuned. This customization can be made with just a few button clicks. The NX75-Z also features Child Lock. The NX75-Z is made from die-casted Zinc-Alloy. Check out the NX75-S (Stainless Steel) and NX75-A (Aluminum) if you are looking for a high precision CNC mod. Aspire NX75 – Next Gen Vaping.
The NX75 allows you to customize your mod with just a few button clicks. No firmware or connecting to computer required! Ease-of-Use is a key feature of the NX75. The NX75-Z also features Child Lock. Aside from firmware upgrades, all operations can be done with just a few click of the NX75-Z buttons.
The NX75 mod is a firmware upgradeable device.
