Crazy what’s going on. Thinking back to better times when all this started. I am however optimistic. I just wanted to say I hope all is well with you. You’re one of the reasons I continue to Vape. I always trusted your opinion and followed your advice with regard to E-liquid’s and devices etc. I was a fan and now I am proud to have you as a friend. The same goes for Dimitris. Please relay that to him. I’m going to keep this short. I just wanted to wish you well, both of you. Hope we all cross paths soon!

Not sure how you have done it all these years. Seems to me Vaping keeps stumbling from one crisis to another. Both real and imagined. Hold your head up high and well done. For getting information out to folks that need it when misinformation or lack of information is available to “regular” vapers like myself. I’m also quite proud of Dash Vapes here in Canada. They sent a newsletter out to all their customers and made a video to address this latest round of stuff. Unfortunately it does sound like some of their customers have returned to smoking due to the misinformation. It reminds me of the “old” days. When mom and dad believed everything that came on TV was true.

Hey Phil and Dimi.  I live in Clarksville, TN, was a pack a day smoker for almost 20 yrs, and a veteran.  Since 2012 I had  been a dual user of vaping and smoking.  Through deployments and everything else.  I had gotten to the point where I thought I was never going to be able to switch to vaping only and finally get off the cigarettes.  Thanks to the two of you and The Smokers Show, I am a week free of smoking and finally feel like I can do it for good.  Thank you for all you do for the community, for smokers, and for advocacy.  Please keep it up, and I have been trying to do what I can to help.  Thank you again.

With all the craziness that is going on right now in this industry, I really wanted to let you and Dimi know how much I appreciate everything that you guys do and represent. I’m 55 and have been smoking since I was about 21. I’ve had a couple of very brief attempts to try to quit  smoking but never was successful. After meeting you online, talking with you, watching the Smoker’s Show and trying the Coolfire that you sent I was motivated to really put all effort into making it work for me and being able to finally be smoke free! My last Dr. appointment that I had I got a rare reaction from my Dr.! He immediately screamed “You quit smoking!” I never even told him lol! 😂 I have never seen him so excited for me! My life has changed so much! I am enjoying flavors I never thought I would! Everything is delicious! 😋 My sense of smell has improved! You guys have inspired and motivated me so much! I want to thank you for everything that you have done for me! You help so many of us! I am grateful! Please keep doing what you do! Love you guys! ❤️

I will say I’m one of your international success stories. After purchasing the wrong device (Direct to lung) and finding your YouTube advice, boom no more cigarettes! 19th December 2019 will be 2 years, since then I’ve helped 14 people successfully give up cigarettes.

My good mate went from 40 cigarettes to zero in 4 days.

The debate on vaping has been brought to the forefront and is getting the ear of your president (Trump). Maybe this might be a blessing. Once the truth comes out that vaping save lives (adult smokers), Trump might support vaping as a tool to stop smoking, then your skirmish with all this disinformation will be behind you. Have Faith.

Hello Phil,

A few months ago I wrote to you about my dear friend who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and how I had tried (long before her diagnosis) to help her switch from cigarettes to vaping, unsuccessfully. I’d like to share with you an update, and to echo my message – never, never give up trying…whether it be vaping to reduce harm and give up the smokes or holding onto positivity, when your life appears to be hanging by a thread.

Upon receiving the frightening news that she was very ill, my dear friend changed the way she lives her life – she gave up meat, dairy and eats only organic food (fortunately, she has an enormous vegetable garden). She meditates several times a day and practices restorative yoga. Keeping positive and not letting her mind fill with fear is an hourly struggle, something I don’t think anyone can truly relate to unless they’ve faced this kind of challenge. Some days she is exhausted simply from trying to live in the moment. But she doesn’t give up.

She received some uplifting news last week. The chemo and immunotherapy treatments are currently holding the disease at bay, she will be on maintenance treatments for now and will no longer need one of the chemo treatments…the one that makes her terribly sick. She has also gained 2 lbs – this may not sound like a lot of weight to gain but on her very tiny frame it is good news.

She’s by no means out of the woods but considering it’s been only 5 months since her diagnosis it appears something positive is happening. We’ve shared many tears during our visits but thankfully our latest visit was full of silliness and side-splitting laughter. I am grateful for every smile on her face, her honesty when sharing her experience and her appreciation for each moment of every day.

Some people may feel her diagnosis would encourage me to give up vaping. On the contrary, my reaction has been to raise my voice another octave with regards to educating anyone who will listen, about vaping as harm reduction. Recently, a friend (?)didn’t hesitate to share her surprise that I hadn’t given up vaping after receiving the news about my friend’s diagnosis. I responded by telling her if I gave up vaping I’d most likely be smoking again and why would I want to do the one thing that could put my health at risk?…again. I sent her some links and videos about vaping and to my surprise she responded positively and thanked me for educating her 👍.

I simply will not give up educating those who don’t understand vaping and how it has helped millions of people quit smoking and I continue to read as much as I can on the subject; to help me get the point across.

I truly believe vaping saves lives. Many thanks to you and Dimitris for your tireless efforts.
