Hi Phil,
For starters, I want to thank you for all the time and great work you put into your
videos & site. It has helped me open my mind, learn, and most importantly stop
smoking. Im 23 years old, and I started smoking when I was 18. I smoked a pack a day
of Djarum Black clove cigarettes for 5 years. My family and my girlfriend hated it
cause I reeked of smoke. Not to mention the obvious dangers, and I slowly started to
realize what I was doing to myself. One day, I woke up and took a deep breath and it
hurt. I knew then that I had a problem, but I ignored it and carried on smoking. A
week after that I was hanging out with a friend of mine, and he showed me his PV and
he told me how much he loved it and that he quit smoking. And I figured if it worked
for him, maybe it can work for me. So I went to YouTube, and I found your videos and
your site. I found them full of information and entertaining to watch/read. Raising
my interest on the topic even more. I went online, and I ordered an ego kit with a
bottle of juice. While it was on its way I continued smoking, every morning was that
pain of the first breath. Once it got to my house, I loaded it up and I started
vaping and never looked back. That day I realized that I didn’t need cigarettes
anymore, that there was an alternative. That day my cigarettes for their way into
the trash. I later learned about variable voltage, the meaning of PG/VG, MODs,
cartos, and so much other stuff because of you. I upgraded my unit, and with all I
learned, it made my experience so much better! I don’t want to ramble, but I cant
emphasize enough how much you’ve helped me. All your videos just made it so much
easier to understand that I wasn’t alone in the fight, and that I was part of a huge
community of people who wanted to see change in their lives. So in closing, I’ve
been smoke free for a year now. And that first deep breath in the morning, is the
most refreshing thing in the world. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Phil.
For everything you do and will continue to do. You are a great person, a fantastic
educator, and overall a funny guy. I hope one day I have the pleasure of meeting
you, vaping, and having a good conversation.

Just wanted to say thank you for all your videos. I am brand new at vaping. I have been smoking for 26 years over a pack of Marlborough reds a day. Its been one week of vaping and no cigarettes. Being new to vaping I really enjoyed watching your videos. I have learned so much from you. Thanks again

Phil, just wanted to say thank you for all the work you put into this
hobby. I had a heart attack on sept 10 this year and was smoking a pack of cigs a
day at that time, since that day i have stopped with the reg cigs and am now using a
vamo v3 with a protank II. alot is due to watching many many videos you have
posted. your reviews were very helpful and for a beginner who knew nothing at all
about vaping i would like to just say thank you from the bottom of my heart for
helping me stop smoking. Your passion and humor really has gotten to me and has
really got me into the vaping scene. Hopefully after i learn more about all this
community has i will be able to get into using items like the 134, vtr with maybe a
russian on top.

Again thank you for all that you do.

Hi Pbusardo! (Phil) I just wanted to take the time and say thank you for
your great reviews. Your videos are really the ones I personally look for when in
search of the newest gadget. My wife and I started vaping back in 2009 when Totally
Wicked and Dlight were the only ones that seemed to hold promise. I would go on and
off for the next couple of years but with having a almost 2 year old son I knew it
was time for me to return so I can be here a little while longer. I bought a
Indulgence 18650 and liked for a month then got burned out. So my wife told me to
check out this guy who does these hilarious reviews on YouTube and go figure it was
you. And low and behold your reviews along with ridiculous amount of research set me
on my path. Currently own a SID and a MVP V1 with a EVOD and a Bulldog RDA. Carto
Tanks are my guilty pleasure as well so a Phiniac is on my wish list. Without your
thorough reviews I know I would still be on analogs for sure. Love the no short cuts
on all the devices and atty’s, you really do take the time to really torture test
these products. Being a Store Manager in retail I constantly vape so I do my part to
do my own tests for family, friends and beginners. Thank You for all the laughs and
knowledge that you have delivered for all eyes and ears and hope to see MANY more
reviews and new Dimitri models in the future. Best wishes!

Phil , i just watched your ECC videos and the guy at the end of video 1 , i
think it was that said it was you who helped him put his analogs down . That is
close to my story also . I started smoking at age 14 , i am now 42 .

I have been
vaping in public places like restaurants , movie theaters , malls and the like for
just over 3 years now . BUT , i watched your Vamo review in late March , ordered one
from VaporBreak.com in china and once it arrived sometime in mid April . I have LIT
only 2 analogs in the first few days after it arrived . I also use 30 – 36 mg juice
. I have used MadVapes.com since I started modding and tried some watermelon flavor
they had and some sort of DCT system . LONG story short , got the right mod , the
right nicotine content AND a flavor that i really liked , I PUT ANALOGS DOWN .

Thank you so much for your videos , your time , and ALL the effort into what you do
for people like myself . You have done more for me and my health with all the GOOD
info you put on your website and on YouTube .

I was using regular eGo’s and 3.7v AA
battery box mods and standard cartos / attys . But , i tell you what , the price on
vaporbreaks site for the Vamo , and your review , i got a setup that i could
actually afford , the kit was 37 bucks or so for the Stainless model , 2- 18350’s
and a charger plus shipping , wound up spending right at 100 bucks shipping included
for all kinds of goodies on my first order with them . I know i sound like i am
promoting them to you , i dont intend on that , but i do in a way . Living in
Knoxville Tennessee , there arent that many B&M’s in the area , and the tobacco
shops that do sell e-cig items are really overpriced . BUT back to my story , Phil ,
i havent smoked a single analog since i got a setup that allowed me to personalize
the vapor , when you use 2.5 ohm cartos on an eGo , it isnt powerful enough to
produce the TH or flavor that cranking the power up to is like at vaping at 8watts
or so . I can drop on ANY DCT , carto , ViVi Nova .. whatever i have , and vape away
enjoyably . I am now using some of my OLD cartos and attys just to get rid of them .
I love the ViVi also and all your videos on it too . I now have 2 Vamo v2’s 3 sets
of batteries and SEVERAL tank systems 2 different RDA’s .
I know i am rambling a bit , but all in all , Thanks Phil . I really appreciate the
help you have given me to put down analogs hopefully for good .

I mostly mix my own liquids too try to get 48 – 60 mg base in PG and mix down with
VG and off the shelf food flavorings from the grocery stores / walmart . I know you
dont advertise that you do any mixing yourself , i am sure you get a pot of
promotional liquids for a really good price / free , but if you do mix your own ,
there is a little bit of pride in knowing you made the flavor you like and you also
know whats in your liquids too that way .
Phil , i could ramble all day , i think i hit the high spots . Would also like to
just sit and talk to you about vaping , i am sure we could talk for MANY hours
about something we are both passionate about .

I was smoking anywhere from
3/4 pack to 1 1/2 packs a day of HANDROLLED / injected with pipe tobacco . I was
using a Top-O-Matic injector with pre-filtered tubes . not sure if you are familiar
with that . But , was getting almost twice the nicotine , and probably twice as much
tar with that as from a pack a pack of cowboy killer reds .
I was smoking them for the past 8 years or so , just after the first BAD sin tax
hike .

I actually over the years tried MANY different stop smoking aids , Zyban , nicotrol
inhalers , Patches , Gum , Lozenges , and even Chantex . So smoking was something i
was going to do till it eventually killed me , and thanks to your reviews and
informational website i was able to get an Advanced Personal Vaporizer setup that
quelled my need of traditional tobacco intake . The nearest think in the past that
actually helped was the nicotrol inhaler , i guess it was like sucking on a sponge
impregnated with nicotine through a cigar sized plastic ‘pipe’ . I was a little bit
larger than your pinkie finger in length and probably just a touch larger in
diameter , but the cost of those were outrageous .

Well , think i got the gist of my previous smoking habits . Wish i would have
remembered that yesterday when i wrote you . Thank You Phil . You really dont
realize how many people you actually help , i am sure now where as many people you
help actually write to you and let you know what YOU have done to help them . It
really means so much to me the time and effort you really put into your videos and
information you post . You do more good than ECF does on their forums . Honestly .

You have heard it before, and you will hear it again, but THANK YOU.
I had tried horrible tasting gas station e-cigs in the past, but they never did the
job. I would always use analogs at the same time.
One day in the smoking area at work I saw this guy put a pen in his mouth and then
blow out what looked like smoke. It Intrigued me so I asked him about it.

It was what I now know to be an EGO style battery and cartomizer.

I thought about that device the rest of the day and on the way home I saw a sign for
a vape shop and walked in.
The staff was helpful, I had no idea what to ask for, I just said “I want to try
these”.
Sampled flavors, different nicotine levels, and left with what I thought was a
decent starter set.
Well it failed soon(did not know I had to tip it to keep the coil wet) and I wasted
more money trying to figure it out on my own.
After watching videos from informative people like yourself I am now the owner of a
VV/VW mod and am enjoying an amazing vaping experience. Almost 3 weeks now without
an analog and I do not miss them a bit.
I was immediately able to stop a 40+ analog a day habit once I had a good setup.

Other advantages of vaping that I have discovered along the way.

1)I can vape in the house whereas I could never smoke in the house. My wife never smoked and it was always an argument when she smelled the cigarette smoke.
She doesn’t mind the smell now. She says it smells like a scented candle. She likes the smell of some liquids better than others, but she has never complained about them.
No more standing on the front porch in inclement weather just to get the nicotine.
2)I do not smell like an ashtray anymore.
3) Cost… Well I think that I will eventually start saving money. Discarding the cost of getting good equipment, the daily cost should be a fraction of what I was spending on analogs.
$6.00+ a pack for my 30 year hump back named analog, times two packs a day compared to 5-7ml of 18mg.
4)I can breathe easier. There may not be any scientific study that proves these are healthier than smoking, but I don’t need one. I don’t cough all the time any more and I do not get winded doing simple tasks.
5)Food is tasting different. Flavors are stronger.
6)I have a new hobby. DIY e-juice supplies are on the way!

Downsides.
1)My truck stinks to high heaven.
I have tried every imaginable air freshener I can get my hands on and it still smells like an ashtray. Hoping this will clean up in time.

Without folks like yourself, I would no doubt have given up and gone back to analogs.

P.S. I have also managed to convert 3 other people from analogs to vape. I carry several sealed alcohol wipes with me. After discussing vaping I sanitize the tip, hand it to them, and let them try it.
Each and every analog smoker that I have done this with, has ordered their own setup.

Phil, just wanted to tell you that at 55 years old and a smoker for 30
years. I have learned all about this great world of Vaping from you!! Your videos
are the great and its a real treat when a new one comes on!! Thanks you so much for
the time and effort you put into this. I just wanted you to know I appreciate all
you have taught me. Analog free for 3 months and never going back!!!

I had the good fortune of meeting you at the ECC in Anaheim Ca. and wanted to say
thank you for what you do, and for the professional, and entertaining way in which
you do it.
I was a 40 year smoker. I’ve been analog free for over four weeks now and have no
desire to go back to cigarettes. With vaping, I don’t crave cigarettes, nor do I
miss all of the negative things both physical and psychological that go with being
a smoker. Most of all I no longer feel the guilt, that for me, went with smoking.
I enjoy vaping immensely. Within the first few days of making the switch to vaping,
I spent
a lot of time online learning what I could about this new venture. I came across
your website
“Taste Your Juice.com”, and have been a faithful follower ever since.
You Phil, have in no small part, been a huge help in my journey into vaping and
remaining smoke free. For this I say THANK YOU, and will give you a thumbs up and a
huge street shout out.

recording studios and installation services. I ran across a couple of your videos
on YouTube. Your attention to detail and extremely effective communication drew me
into checking out your channel and all of the awesome reviews that you’ve done. –
Not only your reviews, but your sense of humor is great! I’m glad I’m not the only
one with a twisted sense of humor.

With you being in the DJ business, I know that you’ve experienced the stresses that
come with every gig. There’s (was) nothing like a smoke to help calm nervous
situations or to simply take a load off. I found myself with a butt (cigarette! 🙂
) in my mouth more and more. It was starting to effect my health – getting winded
on load-outs/load-ins, etc.

It has been 5 weeks since my last cigarette! My success in quitting is largely due
to YOU and your awesome reviews of the plethora of vaping products out there!
Because of your honesty, candor and technical prowess, I’ve found several devices
that fit my needs. I enjoy every pull everytime…I don’t miss cigarettes at all!!!
And the best thing, I can rip down a tank or two of “swagger” (my favorite e juice)
while working in the studio and not feel guilty at all!

Hey Phil, I just wanted to say Thank you. I have been smoke free for 76
days and my hubby for about 60days. I wish I would have found you before I bought
my first set up, but that is ok. Thanks to your great reviews I have learned so
much and now have a Buzz Pro. I love it its simple. My first purchases have been
giving to a dear friend who is only having a couple of cigs per day and one to my
daughter. Keep up the good work. Maybe one day I will get that provari. Taking
