LETTER FROM A VIEWER…
The article was written by Dr. Martin Junneau, a top cardiologist at the Montreal Heart Institute. The Montreal Heart Institute is leader in heart disease research in the world. That hospital is the reason why I’m alive today, I received a heart transplant on August 8th 2002 (nothing to do with smoking, caught a virus and got sick immediately). Here is what the cardiologist had to say about e-cigs (It’s a free translation from French to English, sorry for the spelling errors, I’m French Canadian lol):
The electronic cigaret,
Smoking is one of the worst habits for your health. Smoking is the cause of cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of lung cancer and many other cancers. Quitting smoking can save your life, even if you smoked for a long time. After a heart attack, quitting smoking reduces your risk of recurrence in the first six months.
If you have tried everything to quit smoking and you have failed, despite the help of patches and nicotine gums, or prescription drugs, you can try to replace tobacco cigarettes with the electronic cigarette containing nicotine.
It’s not the nicotine that kills us, but the hundreds of products of burning tobacco. Many of my patients who smoked irreducibly managed to quit smoking with the electronic cigarette.

Montreal Heart Institute
Thanks for this letter Eric and I’m glad you’re doing well. And thank you FDA for continuing to prove you DON’T have our best interests in mind.

Hey Phil,
I wanted to take a moment to thank your commitment to doing reviews. Even moreso, I
truly appreciate the style in which you do your reviews. You are thorough,
professional, real-life, and honest… all of which I appreciate. I realize the
time commitment this takes, I hope you and your family/friends know that we vapors
out there appreciate the time you take for us!You have been a significant part of my journey to quit smoking analogs. To a
beginner, the vaping world can be quite overwhelming. You have a way to put things
in real world terms to make things I have been confused about in very understandable
terms. Clearomizer, cartomizer, atomizer, ohm, resistance, watts, voltage, this
tank that tank, this mod that mod… arrrgggg… all I want to do is not smoke!
When ready to make the next step, I always check to see what you have to say. You
have yet to fail to answer my questions. You are not a “playa” (THANK YOU… so
over those videos). You are one of the few channels on youtube that I follow.Thank you thank you thank you. I have just made the upgrade to a friend’s used
Provari Mini, and as you said, now I get it! Wow, were you right! Now I get it!
Now I am Kayfun bound! With my efforts to quit smoking, my husband as well as two friends have showed
interest in vaping. Primarily to “cut-down”, but heck, that is ok, that is where it
can start. I am trying to pay it forward as I can, hopefully (thanks to you) I can
help a few more folks stop with the analogs. Thanks again and best wishes to you,
Jill

Hey how’s it going man? I’m not going to turn this message into a long winded life
story if I can help it lol. I tend to ramble when talking about things I have a
passion for.
A quick background of my vaping etc. I’ve been tobacco free for around 3
years minus a few slips here and there, and I’m sure you’re just as amazed as
I am with how hardware and juices along with the overall advancements that
vaping as a whole has achieved. People like you are a very big part of that.
Last year before I moved back to the Midwest from jersey I had every bit of
my pv gear juices etc stolen. Everything from my reo to my very first pv
(back when the riva came out as one of the very few ego style batteries).
Close to 15-20 bottles of ejuice, silver bullet,vv box mod the list goes on.
Anyways I went back to smoking. After a few months of smoking I started
looking at ecigs once again and was surprised how far they came in such a
short time. Yada yada yada. Came across a review of yours and as quick as
that I was back to vaping and haven’t looked back. (Using a simple magneto
with igo w5 with a parallel 28g .8 build) to put it lightly it was
out-fucking-standing lol.
I make it a habit to catch some of your reviews when you throw a new video up
or just when I’m curious about a product or the vape scene in general (news
and all that good shtuff). I’m sure you get a ton of emails and vape stories
everyday and the way you communicate with us regular users is definitely
commended. I won’t throw stones at the one YouTubers channel that I can’t
stand and the way YouTube fame if you wanna call it that, goes to the persons
head. As long as it’s helping anyone at all with vaping etc, it’s a plus in my
book.
I wanted to give you a big thanks and let you know how much I appreciate
everything you’re doing for us vapers as a community. From the hardware/juice
reviews, to you showing up at events, doing everything that you do for vaping
as a big picture, as well as being one of the many faces for us vapers.
I try to do as much as I can for the community and help people quit smoking.
It gives me huge satisfaction and happiness when people I have helped get
ahold of me and tell me their success stories and things of that nature so I
can only imagine the joy you get from the things you do for vapers. I do all
I can do and continue to think that even as I’m only one person that’s all it
takes to inform, educate, and spread the information and positives of vaping.
I mean look at you, you started as a guy that enjoys vaping and all the
positive that goes with it, and now you’re leading the front lines against
the politics looking down on what we do. So once again id like to tell you
how much I appreciate everything you are doing and hopefully I catch you or
nick at an event sometime and shoot the shit. Let me know when you plan on
doing another contest or something similar so I can try some new gear since
my vape budget is crap lately lol. Keep up the good work man. I’ll continue
tuning in to your reviews/views on product, FDA’s crap and the politics
along with spreading the word and cause that us vapers so passionately fight
for.Brandon

Hey Phil, great Youtube channel, very informative. I’ve been vaping for a
good year now, and I first started with an ego setup, now I’m using a Nautilus and
an MVP2.0, making my own juice from Mt Baker Vapor and some Capellas. I wanted to
thank you for your efforts in the community and your spread of positive information.
It allowed me extra help in quitting cigarettes, and in a way, it’s like you are
personally supporting me to be healthier.Thank you so much for your contributions to the community. If it helped me, it’s had
to help a whole lot of other people, too.

I’ve smoked since my early twenties, and my girlfriend has smoked since she
was 14. We were able to quit for some time, until super-stressful events had us
backslide right back into it. We tried the disposable ecigs but hated the taste,
and it wouldn’t be long before we went back to the analogs. When I discovered the
wealth of information you had to offer here on this site two months ago, I took the
plunge and purchased a real PV and clearomizer. Neither of us has smoked since,
although we did upgrade to Kayfuns, and now we’re down to 6mg juice! I was only
able to figure out what we needed thanks to the very informative, technical, and
accessible review work that you do on this site.I try my best to pay it forward. I’ve converted a few of my smoking buddies to
vaping setups based on their needs. But, again, I couldn’t have been such a
valuable resource to them without the hours of information I gathered via your
content.Thank you, Phil. You’ve made a real difference in our lives.

Hello Phil! I want to thank you so much for all that you put on YouTube! You have helped me to learn how to build coils and wick them. I started out six months ago on a kangertech starter kit. I now vape a mech mod and have dropped to .3 in nicotine and plan to go to zero before the summer is out. I was a 2 pack a day smoker of camel menthols for over 20 years. I have never felt better health wise than I do now.

Hey Phil!
I just want to thank you for everything that you do. You’ve made this first month (analog free) of vaping such an easy, fulfilling and gratifying experience. I can honestly say that if it weren’t for ‘Taste Your Juice’ I would still be a pack plus a day smoker, with no Intention of putting down my beloved Marlboros. Your intricate descriptions and honest, HILARIOUS reviews not only gave me the insight on the vast world vaping, but also guided me to quality products that would satisfy my needs and make me believe cigarettes are the true underdog; my kayfun lite plus & provari both thank you immensely (thank you for the kayfun coil build video by the way) Vaping off my buddies USELESS PVs never did anything for me. It wasn’t until ‘Taste Your Juice’ came along that I finally realized what the real deal was. Pretty vapor and subpar juice may work for some, but not me. Your site was the answer I needed and I thank you for it. Everyday. Keep doing what your doing. We all appreciate it.
Chris

Hi Phil,
I’m writing to tell you how glad I am to hear that you will be at VCCNE on 6/28. I’m
hoping to be able to thank you in person! I just started vaping last week after a 10
year pack a day habit and its going great (currently using Kanger EVOD w/ iClear 16,
and awaiting vapemail of iTaste MVP V2). I did a lot of research before diving in,
and let me tell you–for the uninitiated, vape info can be overwhelming and hard to
make sense of. Your website and videos made it possible for me to get the knowledge
I needed–well done, clear, detailed, and funny to boot! Thanks and (hopefully) see you on Saturday!!

Phil, I’ve been a vaper for about a year and a half. I used to smoke a pack and a half a day for 6 years, and I’m happy to have found vaping. I just wanted to say thanks for everything you do for the vaping community, and for all the information you provide us with. Its people like you who keep us off the analogs, and keep us vaping. I think vapers are more like a family nowadays (maybe not all), with the main goal being to save lives, and I think you’ve done a lot of that!
Much respect from NYC, Steve.
