A PBusardo Video – 2 Week Travel Wrap Up – The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, The Rant & The Last Contest Winner
In this video we kick it off by announcing the winner of the last contest. We start to talk about the trip and some of the gear I brought along with me and discuss some of the issues I’m having with the Squape X Dream. We talk about the Grand Opening of Queen Ecigs and some of my experiences in Greece. We then talk about Vape Jam UK, what happened there, and the rant.

MORE RIDICULOUSNESS
Ok, so now they want to put a ban on flying with vapor products. Could you imagine having to buy vape gear every time you land? Or having to ship your gear to your destination before you leave? Which, BTW, we may also not be able to do – Thanks for the frightening thought Brad.
(Mental note – a vape shop RIGHT OUTSIDE an airport may be a good investment).
Just ridiculous and scratching my head on how they’re going to enforce this.
FIRST – When I first heard about this I thought they were after stealth vapers on the plane, NOPE – because the ban calls for gear in your checked bags as well.
SECOND – If they’re going to enforce this ban, they had BETTER ban all electronic devices that use similar battery technology, anything less would be blatant discrimination.
THIRD – If your tank is in one bag, and your device is in another, can that still be considered an “electronic smoking device”? One will not work without the other.
FOURTH – We don’t use “electronic smoking devices” LOSER! If you’re going to ban it, you could at least understand it.
FIFTH – Is a mech without an attachment or battery an “electronic smoking device” or just a metal tube?
SIXTH – Is an Innokin MVP an “electronic smoking device” or a power bank?
SEVENTH – Is ANYTHING with the following or similar attached an “electronic smoking device” or a flashlight?
EIGHTH – STOP VENTING YOUR BATTERIES IN PUBLIC – IT REALLY MAKES US LOOK BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Regardless if what I think (which has been a lot of piss and vinegar lately 🙂 )…
- Always travel safely with your gear. If they have removable batteries, REMOVE THEM and keep them in a protected battery box. If they they don’t, power them down, keep them protected, and keep the atomizers separate. Let’s make sure that YOU are not the cause of the next media circus.
- Follow CASAA’s call to action below…
National Call to Action – Take action to oppose a ban on flying with vapor products!
Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
Senate Amendment 3547, which would prohibit airline passengers from bringing “electronic smoking devices” on planes in their carry-on and checked baggage, will possibly be considered as early as next week (week of April, 11th, 2016). The primary sponsor of SA 3547 is Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), who is an outspoken opponent to e-cigarettes. He has earned a reputation for promoting misinformation about these low-risk products.
Please take action NOW by calling your senators and urging them to oppose this amendment. You can find contact information for your US Senators and talking points for your call HERE.
Please also take a moment to send an email to your senators urging them to oppose this amendment.
Take Action – Send a Message
If this amendment is accepted, vapers will be forced to leave their batteries and devices at home or surrender them at TSA checkpoints before being allowed through security. This would impose a completely unwarranted and unnecessary expense on travelers who vape.
Beyond the issue of flying with vapor products, the spirit of this amendment (prohibiting lithium ion batteries on board commercial flights) might as well include a ban on carrying ANY portable electronic device in checked or carry-on baggage. Can you imagine not being able to travel with laptops or cell phones?
Congrats Chris Palermo!!
LOL! Vape it Chris, don’t answer it, although I do understand the confusion!
Congrats to Chris on winning the Europa in a recent contest!
WAKE UP
Do you not understand? Do you not fucking get it?
We’re not fighting for your right to have childish fucking labels (Blue Waffle, Fu:)k Jerry’s. – BTW – “Proudly made in the USA” on this brand made me SICK and embarrassed) We’re not fighting for your copyright infringement, lack of creativity bullshit (Quickie E-Juice) . We’re not fighting for your right to embarrass this industry, We’re not fighting for those who say “fuck you” to all of the advocates who fight for this industry and our right to vape.
WHY should those people not only fight our governments, but also the VERY industry we are fighting for?
What we ARE fighting for your is your RIGHT to NOT watch you mother, your father , your sister, your brother, your grandmother, your grandfather, or your best friend lay in bed dying of cancer.
Do you not understand?
Do you not get it?
This is NOT fun and games.
This is LIFE and DEATH.
This is not free shit and loud music.
This is LIFE AND DEATH.
This is not cloud comps and half naked women (which I very much enjoy BTW in the right circumstance)
This is LIFE AND DEATH.
Do me a favor and act like it.
Sorry gang. I’m bitter as fuck tonight, but I will get past it.
BTW – For all of you who throw sub-ohming, high wattage, tricking, cloud chasing, and a really fun time under the bus. You too do not get it.
We NEED this.
We need the cloud comps. We need events to be fun and exciting.
For the younger generation or those who need it, this keeps people interested, engaged, and passionate about vaping and OFF the cigarettes. Learn to live with it and deal with it. Learn to respect it as long as they respect back and do it respectfully.
Do I think it’ good for the industry? No.
Do I think it will win us any popularity contests? No.
Do I think it should done within reason and respectably? Yes
Do I have concerns about exposure? Yes.
Do I think it’s necessary? Yes.
BUT THERE MUST BE BALANCE.
Where there is sub-ohming and direct lunging , there must be high resistance and mouth to lung. Where there are giant clouds, there must be wisps of vapor. Where there is young and hip, there must be old and seasoned. Where there is the advanced vaper, there must be the noob (although I prefer rookie). Where there is advanced gear, there must be starter kits. Where there is someone who vapes differently than you, there must be respect
We need a mature and professional representation of this industry. Something we can be proud of, something we can ALL get behind.
This nonsense of “You don’t vape the way I do so you are less of a vaper than I am” Has GOT to stop. It’s high-school childish bullshit.
It’s not HOW you vape that’s most important, it’s THAT you vape that means the most. It’s that you don’t smoke anymore that’s most important. It’s the one thing that binds us no matter how we vape. Can’t you understand that?
AGAIN, There needs to be balance.
People need to see not only that trickster blowing o’s and jellyfish, but also the older woman who comes in for her liquid and coils. We need to be respectful of both. We need to appreciate both. We need to support both.
Events need to support and be inviting to both.
If you feel embarrassed by your equipment. If you feel less of a vapor than some others, if you don’t want to attend events with fear of being ridiculed, then walk beside me and we’ll tell those who belittle you because of your equipment or how you vape to go fuck themselves together.
Cancer does not discriminate.
Death does not discriminate.
WE should not discriminate.
This industry needs to grow up and understand just how important it is. This industry needs to understand how those who make a mockery of it affects those who are trying to do things correctly and respectively. This industry needs to understand how short term money grabbing affects those who are concerned with sustainability and longevity.
This industry needs to wake the fuck up and many (but not all) vapers need to do the same.
Event coordinators need to be aware of who is on their floor and ban those who embarrass this industry and jeopardize it due to how they represent it and themselves.
Please allow me to repeat this:
What we ARE fighting for your is your RIGHT to NOT watch you mother, your father , your sister, your brother, your grandmother, your grandfather, or your best friend lay in bed dying of cancer.
Let’s wake up.
Let’s grow up.
Let’s represent this industry in the best possible light.
Let’s realize just how important it is.
VAPE JAM UK 2016
To the folks attending Vape Jam UK 2016:
First, thank you for all the kind words, hand shakes, hugs, hospitality and photos. It was great seeing all of the friends we’ve met at the previous two UK events and meeting so many more friends at this event.
For those of you who were looking forward to hearing myself, Nick Green, and Dimitris on stage… we had some serious and some fun stuff planned for you… advocacy, TPD Information, tech, talk, Q&A, and some high quality ball busting.
Apparently the Vape Model Contest, Cloud Competition, Hip Hop “Artist”, and general throwing out of free stuff did not allow for the time to do our talk.
Our sincerest apologies to those who were expecting it. It was beyond our control.
THE VT75 IS COMING FROM HCIGAR
Maybe you’ve seen this already, maybe you haven’t. Looks like a sexy new piece coming from HCigar powered by a custom DNA board from Evolve.
This one is going to use a 26650, has up to a 75 watt output, and will connect with EScribe.
Available in around a month, no word on price yet.
Congrats Joey “Pasta” Cacciapagliac!
A NEW TUBE TO HOLD ONTO!
Sorry about the title, just wanted to get your attention. 🙂
Looks like ProVape announced a new device today for you tube lovers out there (and yes, that didn’t sound right at all)… the ProVape Procyon and they’ve upped it to 50W over the 20W of the P3. How about that?
I think it nice to see a new cylindrical device coming out in a world that has been dominated by box mods of late.
I didn’t know about this one until someone pointed it out to me today (thanks Drew).
The price on the “Satin Silver” is $219.95 and the “Stealth” (black) is $259.95.
Now let the complaining about the price, minimum resistance, and lack of temp control commence. 🙂
I for one commend them on their commitment to safety, not jumping on the temp control bandwagon until it’s easier and moves beyond temp guessing, and not over-specing their wattage capabilities. Others will certainly not.
