Post review follow-up:
1/19/13 – I’ve really been enjoying my AnyVape, however yesterday I noticed something and it happened again today. My screen keeps turning off! There is no way to get it back until you remove the battery and put it back in. Not sure why this is happening, but it is so be warned!

A RESPONSE FROM KANGER
Ok, I received a response back from KangerTech. It’s a little cryptic, obviously the language barrier is coming into play here. Not sure how helpful this is, but at least the issue has their attention…
Hi Phil,
Thanks a lot for your feedback ,the defective T3 might come from the first batch of trial production ,the two brand customer all my customer, we are paying high attention to this issue now,we plan to mark Kanger brand on all our cleromizers and pack them with more detailed usage instruction., have some factory copy kanger T3.
maby the resistance and votlage, you can fine the attame file.
Thank you again and have nice weekend.
The attached file mentioned in his email included filling instructions, which I think we all know how to do as well as recommended resistance and voltage settings:
Resistance Voltage
1.7-1.9Ω 3.1-3.4V
2.1-2.3Ω 3.5-3.8V
2.4-2.6Ω 3.9-4.2V
2.6-3.0Ω 4.3-4.7V
Also mentioned were different “versions” of the T3 series of clearomizers:
T3 series Clear cartomizer:
(T3 / MT3 / Mini T3 / Mage T3 / T3C)
Some follow-up questions have been sent along with a request for photos of the different versions mentioned above.
THE KANGER T3 & T3.1 & T3.2 & T3.3…
So after hearing, reading, and listening, it looks like they are probably ALL Kangers with KangerTech making little tweaks here and there in newer productions runs. In my opinion, a bad idea. If you’re going to change a product, you should probably rename it so people know what the hell they’re buying, but that’s IMHO.
Note that I have not yet heard back from Kanger after the initial email that stated they were looking into it.
So why were the two so damn different?
Right now, I don’t know, but it is really no wonder why so many people love then and so many people hate them.
Since they are all hand made, my guess is that there are slight differences in construction. Also, as demand increases, my second guess is that they source the materials from different vendors, although I have no way to substantiate that. These two items lead to inconsistencies in performance.
I have several new ones coming in that I’ll be trying side by side to see if this inconsistency continues.
For now, they’ve been removed from the recommended hardware section, and pending what I find from further testing, the Clearo Shootout may be annotated.
I wouldn’t be wasting my time if the first one wasn’t so good and the second so bad!!
For those of you who tried them based on my recommendation and had a bad experience… my apologies.
What a bummer! I really liked the one that worked! But really hate the one that doesn’t.
THE PROVARI MATCHING 306 DRIP SHIELD
I thought this was pretty cool so I figured I’d show you. Another goodie from Kir Fanis. A ProVari matching 306 type atomizer drip shield. Shown with his “Zantos” SS drip tip.
You can find it here.

KANGER T3 UPDATE
A few things here folks.
- Under the Knowledge Base, I changed BOGEGATE to THE GATES. This is where I’ll track ongoing issues such as BOGEGATE and now KANGERGATE so you don’t have to look through all the posts here.
- Remember that TasteYourJuice.com Tweets out when I post to it, so if you’re interested in following the site, feel free to follow me on Twitter. Since I pretty much NEVER Tweet, the only thing you’ll see are updates to the site.
- I received word from GotVapes and Kanger, you can see the information in THE GATES.
