FIVE PAWNS CONTINUES TO IMPRESS…

In addition to the standard flavors, I’ve just received this “Mixology Edition” that I’ll be adding to the upcoming juice review for Five Pawns… and I better get to it quick too before I run out of Castle Long Reserve again!! (BACK OFF THE JUICE PHIL!).

Every time I’ve run across Five Pawns, they continue to impress me. From their booth at ECC, to their packaging and labeling, to their letter head and card stock, to the few liquids I’ve tried at this point, to this beautiful presentation of their Mixology Edition.

Your efforts to put your best foot forward, separate yourselves from the rest, and present your product in the best possible light do not go unnoticed with me my friends.

Yes, I do enjoy your efforts and I haven’t even tried them yet.

Now let’s just hope it doesn’t all taste like urinal cakes & talcum powder. 😉

GOLD ZENKOTE PROVARIS

Zen has been a busy boy working with BOTH Evolv AND ProVape…

Remember when I did the 2-Part Zen Interview?  The prototypes for these were sitting in the conference room…  but, as usual, I wasn’t allowed to say anything :-).  Now they are available so I can share!

I can tell you after seeing them first hand, they are beautiful.

ZenKoteâ„¢ is a super-tough decorative and conductive nano-coating finish developed by House of Hybrids. Imagine having incredible beauty in a highly conductive finish but with a hardness greater than carbide! We start with a Stainless Steel substrate then run the part through a 7 step cleaning process to clean and sterilize it making it ready for the tough outer finish. Finally, The final finish step is to put our proprietary vapor deposition nanocoating on it to make it permanent and tougher than any PV finish available. The look of 24K Gold but tougher than Titanium . Don’t confuse this finish with Gold Plating… it’s MUCH more than that!

From Steve

Good evening, Mr. Busardo.

My name is Steve, and I wanted to send you an email to give you a heartfelt thank you.

I’ve been randomly checking in on vaping as a vehicle to quit smoking for quite a while now, and one month ago, I decided to take the plunge. I quit, cold turkey 27 days ago when I purchased my first Kanger EVOD and Ego Battery. I started out smoking 70/30 PG/VG, from a local shop, which gave me headaches.

So I started really checking things out, getting on the forums, learning little bits here and there, taking in all of the opinions. But they were just that, LOTS of opinions, personal taste, subjective conjecture. So I went driving around my area, looking for different local vape brick and mortar retail stores. I spent a decent amount of money (which I amazingly do not regret) and I learned some stuff on my own. I purchased a Innokin VTR, two Innokin iTaste 30s, and found some 50/50 juice called NamberJuice at a local brick and mortar that does not give me a headache. I also purchase my mother an analog called the Joytech Ego-Roll, in the hopes that she would quit smoking as well, and she has been cigarette free for a week now.

I’ve learned that I am not a top coil person, not enough taste for me. I found out that I am all about flavor and consistency, not any bit into cloud size or anything like that. So I went on another round of searching, and I found your channel. I’ve watched some other vids on youtube, and found the people somewhat… annoying in their presentation. As if they were doing it only to impress. You actually wanted to teach, you wanted to educate people on how to better enjoy their vape, to do it more safely, and provide information to allow them to make informed decisions.

I purchased a Kanger Aerotank, and a Joytech eMode Atomizer, and I have to admit, they taste great, but there is still something missing in the taste department. Then I found your Battle of the Bottoms experiment video. (As a gay male, I thought the joke at the beginning was hilarious) I found that video very informative, and have decided to look into getting a Nautilus.

But I am rambling, and I don’t want to take up too much of your time. Just know, you’ve helped me a lot (and continue to do so as I watch more of your videos).

Again, thank you.
– Steve

Hey Phil! First, I’d like to thank you for your awesome reviews as well as
your “vaper’s Glossary” and other awesome pages you have on this spectacular
website. Before a friend recommended this website to me, I didn’t know very much
about ecigs. I started smoking in 09 on spring break. during my college years, i was
apart of a fraternity and I partied A LOT! With partying so much, I picked up
smoking. I tried a few ecigs to get off of smoking once I noticed how it was
affecting my health. I started with a disposable and went back to smoking. Then I
ended up buying a Magma starter kit from Volcano and went back to smoking. I bought
a Inferno kit from Volcano and went back to smoking. Recently, I had to have surgery
and my Fiance(who is a nurse and is constantly getting on me about quitting) informed
me that if I didn’t quit, there’s a good chance that it would be hard for my lungs
to get off the ventilator, plus my recovery time would be longer. I’m not a doctor
or anything and she could have been trying to scare me (which, it worked!). so I
pulled out my old inferno and vaped on that up to and after the surgery. It was
leaking and burnt my throat and was just terrible. Well if i was still in college,
I’m sure I would have went back to smoking. Smoking seemed to help with the stress
more. I decided that I would stick with the ecigs and not smoke another cigarette.
So i bought a new Inferno kit because I realized that mine was outdated by like 3
years. So to get to the point, I’ve been watching your reviews, reading, and
researching for the past three days(I graduated with a 4 year degree in December and
I’m unemployed, job hunting right now) and I’ve learned so much. If i knew what I
know now, when I bought this new inferno, I could have spent a little more for a
great setup. It wasn’t until I bought some juice from good life that I realized that
volcano juice is not that good. I’m really looking forward to getting a job so i can
get a mod and i’d really like a rebuildable because I’ve watched so many videos of
you or somebody else rebuilding that I’m confident that I can do it. Sorry for the
rant, I just think it’s awesome what you’re doing and just in case you don’t feel
appreciated, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate it.

Dear Phil,

I assume you possibly get letters like this all the time, however I wished
to thank you.

I have been vapeing and cigarette free for 186 days now. When I first
started it was with a ego kit from the local smoke shop, it contained your
2 ego batteries, charger and 2 of the top wicking vision clearos. This
along
with the USA blend dekang they had at the shop was enough to get me to
quit
smoking. Eventually I tried some of the other flavors, bonus! of course
the crappy clearos that came with the kit now were sucking… moved right
along to the protanks! big step up… But I was burning through those
bottom coils far to fast, even with washing them out I would get a few
more
days at most with them.

I knew there had to be a better solution, so decided after some google
legwork to see what cartos were all about… and thats when I came across
your site! YOUR site had all the information I was looking for, A
introduction to cartos, tanks, how to fill, and most importantly the
reviews!
All the information I got from your videos was clearly and cleanly given
in
such a way that a complete newbie like myself could understand.

I now exclusively use tanks and cartos… I also gave Mount Baker a try
from your juice reviews and glad I did… I have saved so much money
switching my baseline all day vape to the MBV Ecto Cooler. (was paying $10
for 15ml before)

Long story short, THANK YOU!

Matt

if i may call you phil, i am certainly a success story thanks to the info i
gained here. i found you by watching utube and finally connected with the taste
your juice voice to locate this site. i immersed myself in the easy to locate info
found here for over a month before becoming an ecf member and the rest is history.
i only wish someone had said taste your juice when i bought my first ego.
legislation should require vendors to post your banner in their b&m’s. i didn’t
bother with the ecf until i needed in depth info on diy juice and coil builds. that
said, it took a couple of days to learn how to navigate such an immense source. i
still visit here every few days to see what’s new and surprised to see the numbers
of juice vendors growing exponentially for review. placed an order for a hh.357
this weekend so i can taste juice like my buddy p.busardo. my egos are great for on
the go but they led to vv/vw, two vamo v5’s now and a wait for a zna30. 35 t3s
clearomizers, protankII and two aerotanks. the 357 and aerotank bases to upgrade
protanks, and diy are on the way thanks to avid vapors link i got here. anyway, i
have found not smoking to be enjoyable. actually, i am having a blast and it has
all been within meager means comparably. i want a kayfun lite + and there are only
clones available for the present. airflow is where its at and such an important
variable. thank you for your time, for all you do. you are the real deal and i
tell anyone interested in ecig alternative to tasteyourjuice.com. my first ego
setup came from mountain oak vapors in cleveland, tn sorry i couldn’t meet you in
chattanooga and shake your hand.

Hi Phil, {notPeteorPat},
I’m just writing to say how much I enjoy your videos. When I’m thinking of buying
yet more gear, mu first port of call is your YouTube site to see what the Guru has
to say about it. Most of the stuff you review is also available here in England,
UK. I’ve been a smoker since the 60’s and over the years been a 40 a day clown
though for the last 10 years 20. I’ve tried every crutch on the market to pack in
including acupuncture, hypnosis haha., patches, gum etc. etc. to no avail. How
ever since last September I bought my first MOD (Itaste SVD)and had no tobacco
since. Don’t even think about cigarettes now (a first). Most of the people I come
across who can’t get away with vaping are using their device like a cigarette,
short puffs, instead of leisurely long draws like puffing a pipe. Anyway keep up
the excellent work and keep your fans agog.
Cheers Philnotpete

Hi Phil,

First thing I want to say is your videos are great and you have been an inspiration for me.

My story (not really a story) begins when I was around 14, when I first started smoking, what I now call stinkies. For the last 8 years I was smoking around 2 packs a day. I am now 35 and today marks 1 month since smoking. My biggest issues with smoking were of course the health issues, the cost, and finally the smell.

For as long as I can remember I have something similar to heart murmurs. They only happened with smoking and it was not bad enough for me to really care to much about. Back in October 2013 I had a TIA (ministroke) that scared me pretty bad. One of the recommendations were stop drinking sodas. This was mainly due to the last 6 years I have worked from home and always had access to them. One of them was to stop smoking. This was a problem for me (of course lol). Even while in the hospital after my heart cath, I would still go outside and smoke. Once I was well, I continued to smoke. Once I stopped smoking, those murmurs have since stopped. Have not really got the other good things that come from stop smoking yet, but already can feel a difference and now my daughter and my wife seems to actually want to be around me lol.

What got me away from smokes in the beginning were one of my friends on XBOX told me he was going to send me a some disposables. I took it with a grain of salt. The day they came in the mail, I went to do my normal convenient store stop of getting my 2 packs of smokes. I brought them home, started work and smoked as normal for a few hours. I then looked over and grabbed the Fins my friend had sent. I thought, hmm I’ll give this a shot. From there I tried some other brands like NJOY, H20 and finally BLU. I then went to a ego style battery, then a VV ego battery. I then started watching your videos after doing some searches on YouTube, that is where it really changed.

After watching you, and a few others, I kept coming back to you and your site for more information. I looked into tanks and then became even more confused, then came mods, I was lost. I started more research and ended up back to you. My knowledge is now where it should be and if I go another direction with a different type of device, I know can come to you, your site. I am now using The Spire VV/VW mod and am waiting on my Aspire Nautilus and The Russian tanks to come in. Your reviews, the technical aspects, the professionalism (for the most part haha), the funny moments (which I love), everything, those things kept me coming back. I have still continued to watch every new video you put out. Even if I don’t plan to use what you are talking about, I still like to learn and get more information and you provide a great wealth of information.

Not much more to my story of quitting the stinkies, but you have been a MAJOR part of it and I appreciate more than you can know.

Thank you very,

Shane
