From Craig

I just wanted to share my story as well. I’m sure you get a lot of these and I’ve read all of the ones you have posted by others. I started smoking when I was in 6th grade and never stopped. I’m 31 now and have been vaping for over 4 months now. I had been in a lot of trouble health wise, with lung and Chest infections. Several courses of antibiotics I was just in really bad shape. I decided to give this a try cause I was at the end of my rope. Being 31 I shouldn’t have even been in this spot. My first device I picked up was an mvp 2.0. And two juices. I haven’t touched a cigarette in months. Threw my inhalers out and I’m up and at em again. I switched mods to the dna 30 hana modz and gave my grandmother my mvp. She was a 2 carton a week smoker. The past 2 weeks she’s dropped down to 2 packs and dropping quickly. Your intuitive videos and knowledge has been a huge help. I just wanted to say that for someone being all the way in the state of maine the options are small. You have opened my eyes.

Thanks so much. Keep it up man.

Comment: I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the time, effort,
and especially the information you put out there to the vaping community. I am 34,
live in New Jersey, and I have been a smoker for 17 years. I started vapeing about
a year ago, and cut my habit from a carton a week to a pack a week, but I was never
satisfied with my equipment. I finally came across your videos on youtube, and was
blown away by how little I actually knew. Based alot on what you have talked about,
and based on my own research, I was able to find what works for me and I have been a
non smoker now for 5 weeks. Even though my choices were not your favorite products
(the innokin vv version 3 and the mvp2), sharing your knowledge and recommendations
helped me quit for good. You are doing good work; I thank you, my wife thanks you,
and my 2 year old son thanks you. Vape on!

Hello Phil, You don’t know me, but, you helped me QUIT SMOKING!!! WOO HOO!!! I smoked 1-2 packs per day for 24+ years. About 3 months ago I finally heard about vaping and immediately went to yourtube to learn more. I’ve watched tons of your videos, bought some vape gear and am happy to report that I have been 100% analog free for the past 3 months with no desire to ever go back!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

THEY ARE WINNING :-(

Here’s a a great quote from a recent Dr. Farsalinos study:

There is absolutely no doubt that, based on all currently available scientific evidence, e-cigarettes are by far less harmful that tobacco cigarettes.

The overall study, however, is disturbing. Click the link below…

A new study indicates that anti-smoker and anti-vaper activists are doing a good job(unfortunately)

Hi phil,
Just thought I’d give you a quick email to say thankyou for what you are doing for
the vaping community. You’ve been a great help to us all. In my case I’ve been
vaping for 2 years, but unfortunately had abit of a relapse and went back to the
stinkies a few months back, but luckily I’m back vaping now 🙂 into my 2nd month
being back. Just trying to get abit of kit together to get myself going again, as
I’m using a ego at the moment. Bit of a change from the provari I used to use. One
of the main things that brought me back was missing watching your videos. They are
so entertaining and and helpful.
We’ll keep up the good work and thankyou for doing your part in our community

Kind regards
Tom

What’s the deal with FreeToVape?

Ok, here’s the deal.  I’m getting mixed signals from the community as to whether or not FreeToVape.org is a good thing, or if it will do more harm than good.  In addition there may be some legal issues with the site.

So I’m going to get further direction, clear my head a bit in Miami (cause I’m a quite cranky right now), let the dust settle, and see if this is an effort I should be supporting or not.

Note that I was not made aware that CASAA did not think this was a good idea until today. I think the information and communication could have been better all around.

The good news is that there has been a lot of dialog today between Brent, the creator of the website, and myself as well as between Brent and CASAA.  Also, some of the potential legal issues with the site are being worked out and communicated clearly to me.

I’m quite sure you’ll see the banner back on this site soon enough, but don’t let that stop you or cause you to pause.  If it’s something you believe in, then my all means support it and take action.

More soon enough.

I want to thank you for your rant about not having the most expensive
device. I sometimes feel the need to upgrade or get something different or new, but
truth is I just can’t afford it. I have been able to get several people /friends to
quit smoking and that makes me feel soooo good and that in large part is thanks to
you =). At first I was lost or uneducated, my brother told me about blu e-cigs and
that they were working for him. so I got one and it was good but not good enough. So
back to smoking and dipping I went, then I heard about the Johnson Creek Vea, more
battery life, longer lasting carto’s, wow great, but still not good enough for me.
Then by the grace of God and I am not a religious men, I found your web site and the
planets aligned. I bought an evic based on your buh-in award and a vivi nova tank,
finally we were getting some where. After almost a year and several drops the
threads on my 510 connection stripped and I had to get something different, so where
did I go but to the hardware suggestions @ tasteyourjuice.com and at that time you
had the smoktech SID on there which took the same battery and the tubes are
compatible so it was a no-brainer. Long story kinda short, my SID with a vapeonly
bcc rebuilt with a microcoil 6 wraps of 30 awg kanthal and a cotton wick is really
all I need and if I am blessed to be able to get something I want then thats a
bonus. Once again THANK YOU for all your help, for me and my friends and all the
people who you help leave analog cigs in the past, you are doing gods work. Feel
free to post this anywhere you want its the truth.
