URGENT! CASAA Issues First Call to Prepare For FDA Proposed Regulations
The first Call to Prepare is your opportunity to begin laying the groundwork for your formal, substantive comment to the FDA. Consistent with our earlier instructions, we are asking consumers to continue to wait to file substantive comments for a few more days, but now is the time to prepare part of your comments in earnest. We are asking consumers to write up a few paragraphs on each of the three main points detailed in the first Call to Prepare so it is ready to assemble into your final comments
We anticipate issuing the Second Call to Prepare early next week, which will provide guidance on further refining draft comments. The Fourth Call to Action (requesting consumers assemble their prepared thoughts and submit the comment to FDA) is expected to be issued towards the end of next week.
Please see the FIRST CALL TO PREPARE for details.
Forward, repost, and share . . . and explain to others why this is so important.
Sincerely,
Julie Woessner, President
CASAA

The Post Review Follow-up:
- 7/15/2014 – I missed this concept in my thoughts when creating the video. With it in BYPASS mode, it will dump battery power to the load. So let’s say we’ve got a .2 Ohm load on a freshly charged battery and it fires it at 3.7 loaded (probably a little high), we get 68.45 watts which is higher than it’s highest 50 watt setting. Now BYPASS makes more sense. Sorry I missed that in the video, I kept looking at the .5 ohm load in the lazy box and didn’t consider it’s minimum .2 Ohm load specification.
- 7/15/2014 – The SX350 board does have connection points on it for up and down buttons in addition to the gravitational sensor.
- 7/17/2014 – The 510 connection is silver plated brass.

Crystal Clear Vaping & Andrew Watkins
I just had a very difficult phone conversation with someone I’ve dealt a lot with in the past.
His name is Andrew Watkins and he is the owner of Crystal Clear Vaping (CCV).
Andrew has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer which has spread to his liver. He has been given 4 months to live if the kemo and radiation does not work.
I talked to Andrew from his hospital bed and it was not easy for him, but he asked a few favors of me which I’m more than happy to do for him.
- He asked me to keep him in my prayers and thought and I’ll do just that. I would ask the same of you.
- He explained to me that he’s been training the replacement management of CCV from the hospital bed, but the transition has not been an easy one. There have been customer service and order issues over the last 5 months and he would like to make them right. He’s asked me to provide his personal email to you. If you’ve experienced customer service or order issues with CCV over the last 5 months, please contact him directly so he can address them. Note that he’s doing this from his hospital bed. I think this speaks wonders for the man.
I would personally ask you to be patient with him through this difficult time. Perhaps, even if you haven’t had any issues with CCV or have never even dealt with CCV, a quick email wishing him well could boost his spirit a bit.
His email address is cmdryker1@charter.net.
I wish you well Andrew.
Thank you everyone.

Hey Phil,
I wanted to take a moment to thank your commitment to doing reviews. Even moreso, I
truly appreciate the style in which you do your reviews. You are thorough,
professional, real-life, and honest… all of which I appreciate. I realize the
time commitment this takes, I hope you and your family/friends know that we vapors
out there appreciate the time you take for us!You have been a significant part of my journey to quit smoking analogs. To a
beginner, the vaping world can be quite overwhelming. You have a way to put things
in real world terms to make things I have been confused about in very understandable
terms. Clearomizer, cartomizer, atomizer, ohm, resistance, watts, voltage, this
tank that tank, this mod that mod… arrrgggg… all I want to do is not smoke!
When ready to make the next step, I always check to see what you have to say. You
have yet to fail to answer my questions. You are not a “playa” (THANK YOU… so
over those videos). You are one of the few channels on youtube that I follow.Thank you thank you thank you. I have just made the upgrade to a friend’s used
Provari Mini, and as you said, now I get it! Wow, were you right! Now I get it!
Now I am Kayfun bound! With my efforts to quit smoking, my husband as well as two friends have showed
interest in vaping. Primarily to “cut-down”, but heck, that is ok, that is where it
can start. I am trying to pay it forward as I can, hopefully (thanks to you) I can
help a few more folks stop with the analogs. Thanks again and best wishes to you,
Jill
GUESS WHO’S IN THE RDA GAME!
Well, we knew this was coming and now it looks like it’s here.
Innokin enters the RDA game with their new itaste VF.
I knew the build deck was removable from the base. The idea is to have individual build decks for single, dual, and quad coil builds, but what I didn’t know, and was a little disappointed to find out, was that they’re sold separately. Bummer. I think they should have included them. It comes with a dual coil deck.
The posts are unique in that they can be tightened with a phillips head, flat head, and they are also knurled for finger tightening, and they have holes for the coil leads in two different positions for different build types, although, IMHO they are not aligned correctly (see photos below).
There is no 510 pin adjustment on this one.
The cap has four air slots and are adjustable via a ring. Although you can open them or tighten them with the ring, it’s controlling all of them at the same time, so the air pattern may not be ideal for a dual coil build (with the included deck), a single coil build (with the optional single coil deck)… only a quad. Also, the air holes do not appear to be in the correct place to hit a typical dual coil build where the coils are built on the opposite sides of the posts, so you may get a rather harsh vape on a dual coil build, I’ll have to play with this a bit to see and show you in a video. The control ring is also a bit loose and the overall construction feels a bit light.
The included drip tip is rather long and doesn’t have a very large bore as seen in most RDA drip tips these days.
Overall it comes across as a dripper made my someone not very familiar with drippers. As an inexpensive (around $35.00) first RDA it may be worth a look, but experienced RDA users should probably look elsewhere.
In addition to the VF, Innokin has fancied up their CLK batteries as well, adding some new patterns and colors including Dimitri Pink!! I checked the control ring and it appears to be MUCH smoother now.
The CLK batteries shown are 1280 mAh, will fire a resistance as low as 1.2 ohms, are chargeable via a micro USB, have a limit of 3.0 amps, come with a lanyard and transition ring, and are adjustable to 3.5, 3.8, 4.0, 4.3, 4.5, 4.8, & 5.0 volts.

Hey how’s it going man? I’m not going to turn this message into a long winded life
story if I can help it lol. I tend to ramble when talking about things I have a
passion for.
A quick background of my vaping etc. I’ve been tobacco free for around 3
years minus a few slips here and there, and I’m sure you’re just as amazed as
I am with how hardware and juices along with the overall advancements that
vaping as a whole has achieved. People like you are a very big part of that.
Last year before I moved back to the Midwest from jersey I had every bit of
my pv gear juices etc stolen. Everything from my reo to my very first pv
(back when the riva came out as one of the very few ego style batteries).
Close to 15-20 bottles of ejuice, silver bullet,vv box mod the list goes on.
Anyways I went back to smoking. After a few months of smoking I started
looking at ecigs once again and was surprised how far they came in such a
short time. Yada yada yada. Came across a review of yours and as quick as
that I was back to vaping and haven’t looked back. (Using a simple magneto
with igo w5 with a parallel 28g .8 build) to put it lightly it was
out-fucking-standing lol.
I make it a habit to catch some of your reviews when you throw a new video up
or just when I’m curious about a product or the vape scene in general (news
and all that good shtuff). I’m sure you get a ton of emails and vape stories
everyday and the way you communicate with us regular users is definitely
commended. I won’t throw stones at the one YouTubers channel that I can’t
stand and the way YouTube fame if you wanna call it that, goes to the persons
head. As long as it’s helping anyone at all with vaping etc, it’s a plus in my
book.
I wanted to give you a big thanks and let you know how much I appreciate
everything you’re doing for us vapers as a community. From the hardware/juice
reviews, to you showing up at events, doing everything that you do for vaping
as a big picture, as well as being one of the many faces for us vapers.
I try to do as much as I can for the community and help people quit smoking.
It gives me huge satisfaction and happiness when people I have helped get
ahold of me and tell me their success stories and things of that nature so I
can only imagine the joy you get from the things you do for vapers. I do all
I can do and continue to think that even as I’m only one person that’s all it
takes to inform, educate, and spread the information and positives of vaping.
I mean look at you, you started as a guy that enjoys vaping and all the
positive that goes with it, and now you’re leading the front lines against
the politics looking down on what we do. So once again id like to tell you
how much I appreciate everything you are doing and hopefully I catch you or
nick at an event sometime and shoot the shit. Let me know when you plan on
doing another contest or something similar so I can try some new gear since
my vape budget is crap lately lol. Keep up the good work man. I’ll continue
tuning in to your reviews/views on product, FDA’s crap and the politics
along with spreading the word and cause that us vapers so passionately fight
for.Brandon

Hey Phil, great Youtube channel, very informative. I’ve been vaping for a
good year now, and I first started with an ego setup, now I’m using a Nautilus and
an MVP2.0, making my own juice from Mt Baker Vapor and some Capellas. I wanted to
thank you for your efforts in the community and your spread of positive information.
It allowed me extra help in quitting cigarettes, and in a way, it’s like you are
personally supporting me to be healthier.Thank you so much for your contributions to the community. If it helped me, it’s had
to help a whole lot of other people, too.
THE VAPIN’ DONUTS AND MORE!
A PBusardo Review – Vapin’ Donuts
Ok, there’s a lot more in this video other than the Vapin’ Donuts.
We’re going to take a quick look at the Aspire Mini Nautilus and the new head and I’ll give my take on side by side vaping this next to the Kanger Aero Tank Mega.
We’ll take a quick look at a new RDA, the CLT from Infinite, a Chinese manufacturer and put a dual coil build in it.
Then I take a look at the Vapin’ Donuts. I give you my take on these, do a couple builds, and compare them to a comparable Kanthal coil.
We also announce the winner of the last contest and kick off a new one!
