The Post Video Follow-up:

  • I forgot to mention two side effects of using the board in the interview that I wanted to cover.
  1. Battery life – With how I was using it, I was getting increased battery life.  This is due to the board throttling back the watts when the temp is reached.  I wonder, if based on the settings and how you vape, if the opposite can also be true.
  2. Wick Longevity – I noticed the flavor of my wick stayed truer longer when using the technology.

LETS HELP OUT VINCE, LETS HELP OUT AUSTRALIA, LETS HELP OUT VAPING!

Hi Phil,

My names Vince van Heerden, you may have heard of the case in Australia where the government is trying to ban all ecig hardware in Australia. Unfortunately I am at the center of the case and have been criminally prosecuted for running a vape shop. I am the only person in the world who can say that… I am desperately trying to appeal the decision and overturn the ruling.

I have been raising the funds to fight through crowd sourcing and have managed to raise around $70,000 but I wont be able to proceed unless I manage to raise at least another $30,000 over the next couple of weeks.

If I fail to raise the funds, Australia is set to become the first country in the world to ban ecigs and a great many people are going to be denied the right to choose a life saving alternative.

This precedent will likely be used by other countries to push the anti ecig agenda. Australia has such a small vaping population that raising the funds alone seems out of our reach.

I appeared on Russ Wishtarts show 2 days ago and subsequently $13,000 has been raised via the international support! What has become clear is that without support from our international vaping brothers we are doomed to fail.

I am messaging you to beg for your help. To ask you to mention the battle being fought here in Australia or in a perfect world to let me talk with you on one of your shows to get the message out.

We share I think the same beliefs and if we stand together we can fight the endemic corruption attacking vapers everywhere.

From Allen

Hello, my name is Allen Cook (like it says on FB). I’m pretty new to vaping but this guy that comes to my work that sounds like he has a good amount of experience with rda vaporizers, told me to watch your YouTube videos to learn more. I wanted to say I enjoy your videos. They have a lot of informative info and extremely helpful. I have my own little bit of trouble understanding ohms law, but your intro to rda vaporizers video was the first I saw and it helped me a lot. Thank you for what you do and I will continue to use you first when it comes to review videos and such!

FROM SMOKTECH REGARDING THE BEC-PRO VIDEO

Excellent…

We would like to thank you for taking time reviewing our BEC PRO and appreciate you for pointing out the safety concerns for this product,
Actually , We have taken the “got hot” problem into consideration when we make this product, so it shows the temprature on the display or
the app interface to remind consumer to stop while the temprature gets high.

But in order to avoid any potential worries about over- heating , we will take your suggestion and reprogram the temperature sensor in the firmware,
the display will show” cool down” and the device will cut off at the same time if the temperature reaches 75 centigrade(167℉) ,
and the device will resume work after the temperature cooling down to 65 centigrade(149℉). Please kindly pass this message to
your fellow vapers.

Thank you again for the great review and we are looking forward to send you more new product for reviewing.

From Atroubledmind

you’ve done a fantastic job spreading the word, and really appreciate your
collaborations with LeVapeShop in Montreal. I’m originally from mtl but living in
western canada. I’m a psychiatry resident and have been a strong proponent of vaping
since discovering them 2 years ago. LeVapeShop has collaborated with respirologists
(lung docs) in Mtl, and that has been a very positive step, if only the rest of
medicine would get their heads out of the sand, but that’s a whole other issue.
Anyways, the point of this email was to support you on your stance regarding
mechanical mods. The way they are built requires cotton which potentially when
heated by the coils can be burnt releasing toxic by products. While still a better
alternative to tobacco, I’m concerned that the mod community is missing the bigger
picture behind the health benefits of vaping and its potential game changing
potentials with respect to improving health outcomes and decreasing health costs
long term.
Tons of new research supporting the use of nicotine, including its neuroprotective
benefits for neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinsons and Alzheimer’s
Dementia…and lets not forget ADHD.

Thank you for your time and keep doing what your doing! Hope you enjoyed your trip
to France.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE JUICE QUEUE VOTING??

That is an excellent question. The poll is simply gone. I’m working to get it back as there was a TON of data in it. Hopefully it will be recoverable.

Ugh, add something else onto my list of things to do.

From Elizabeth

Hello Phil

I know you are very busy, so thank you for taking a moment to even read this 🙂

I just wanted to say thank you for your reviews.

I am 33, started smoking when I was 12ish. My son is about to turn 13, and I did not
want him to start smoking, but I also did not want to do what my parents did with me
(*inhale* don’t smoke *exhale*). I started vaping in February, with a Blu kit. Using
the Blu, I would get so frustrated that I would chain smoke while trying to figure
out how to get the stupid thing to work, whether it be to charge or even produce
vapor. There’s no vape shops in my immediate area, and I don’t drive so traveling to
one is out of the question. My “vaping community” is what I can find online.

Disheartened and discouraged, I started scouring the internet for what I was doing
wrong. What I found was a world of information on everything to do with vaping. Too
much information, actually. Everyone saying to buy this, get that, this is what
works, this is what doesn’t, and for every bit of advice there was an army saying
the opposite. Following what I thought was the best advice for what I wanted, I
bought an ego. I was still unhappy, but everything else looked so complicated. I
just wanted to quit smoking, I did not want to learn a new hobby. I didn’t want to
buy meters and batteries and wires and a tool set and figure out math and laws.

Right when I was going to give up, I happened to catch a pbusardo review of the
iTaste VV. Perfectly explained, simple enough for me to follow with enough
information that it answered every single question I could think of to ask. I bought
one right away (well, after watching a dozen other reviews on it and reviews for a
dozen other products). The clearomizers it comes with were not for me. It was your
review on clearomizers that prevented me from throwing the whole kit in the trash. I
didn’t need to find a new battery- I needed to find the perfect topper for the
battery for me.

I quit smoking on April 22, and have not slipped once. I am happily vaping with my
MVP 2 with a Nautilus Aspire and the a mini for my itaste vv (and now with the BVCs,
which I love so much). I’ve got to replace my mvp soon, I wore the paint off the
button and I don’t like how it feels, so I’m looking forward to your eleaf istick
review 🙂

So, THANK YOU and many virtual hugs for how you do your reviews and for answering
all my questions without even knowing you were answering them.
