SPY PHOTOS OF THE NEW ASPIRE FACILITY LEAKED…

Ok, well actually, I have permission to post these, but the title sounded more dramatic…

Aspire is moving to a new facility (huge place!) they leased out a whole industrial
complex that was once owned by a US company so it’s much cleaner, and set up more
how Americans do things with building codes and such.

They move on 11/29/14 to this new place.

Today it was still under construction as you’ll see in the photos!

If people are worried…production will not be delayed on Aspire products!

Also look for a couple of new products coming out from Aspire soon 😉

From Chris

Hi Phil,

First of all I would like to thank you for you entertaining reviews.

I am off the fags for nearly three month now as my son developed early childhood
asthma a while ago. The doc told me even though I am not smoking indoors (house/car)
at all the smoke will stay on my clothing for quiet a while and this would not help.
I tried first the usual stuff, patches, gums.. didn’t work at all. Having a
stressful job did also not help at all, it was more the opposite…

I went even down the chemical route with Champix….. It worked quite OK in the
beginning however I started to get seriously weird dreams so I went off from the
drugs and shortly back on to the fags again….

I had some early adopters for e-cigs at work who were on them for years and they
tried to convince me however…. well, even though I wanted to quit smoking I
dismissed their claims as the usual disposable sold at the gas station around the
corner etc wasn’t really satisfying.

After staying another night in hospital a couple of months ago because of a severe
asthma attack of my son I really started thinking again and I decided to invest some
further research into the matter and I ended up on your website and learned a lot.
After rurther reading into the matter I ordered my first e-cig, a Kanger Evod and
e-liquid with 18mg Nicotine. I pledged to myself only to use the Evod and no more
smokes and it worked.

After the first month however I looked what else is out there and opted for a Vamo
V5 and a Kanger Aerotank. That one was even better and I discovered the pleasure of
trying different flavours.

After the second month fag free I reduced my nicotine level to 12mg and discovered
the joy of RBAs. Having the knack of “tinkering” with stuff this was ideal and I
noticed that this actually can evolve into a hobby (tinkering) and while I am
writing this nearly into 3 month without touching a cigarette I am enjoying a vape
with a Kayfun on a Stingray X while my son is in bed and I do not have to go outside
into the lovely weather Ireland has to offer at this time of the year….. (hint, it
is not sunshine and it includes a lot of rain and wind).

So thank you for all your time and effort you put into your hobby to share it with
the “world”.

This is actually the first website I saw that does change your life without charging
any money for it or for that matter claiming to change it in the first place, but it
did (and believe me, I see a ton of them every day at my job who claim to change
your life and only want your money). 🙂

Kind regards,
Chris

THE MARQUIS DRIPPER – FIRST BUILD

THE MARQUIS RDA

So I did my first build on the Marquis and the experience was good enough to write about. I have NEVER has a more pleasant experience creating a dual coil build The build tools are brilliant, the positive capture post is brilliant. Those of you who are “build challenged” will love this design.

I give Cisco, Jonboy, (and begrudgingly 🙂 ) Dino a lot of credit for the design.

The vape quality is excellent. Although it’s creating a ton of vapor, this is a flavor machine first and a fog machine second.

Regarding the build tools, and holes on the deck creating a kind of “jig” for you’re build. Remember what I wrote the last time about them? This is the message I got back from Dino…

and the coiling rods and holes in the deck were my ideas….dick

You know, usually it’s Phil, sometimes Pete, sometimes Lou, sometimes Pablo, but this is the first “Dick” but I’m sure it won’t be the last. LMAO.

NEW IN THE QUEUE – 11/19/14 – THE MARQUIS RDA

THE MARQUIS RDA

The brainchild of Dino, Cisco, and Jonboy, this rather plain dripper on the outside (very surprised that Cisco didn’t engrave his face on the side of it, and very happy that Dino didn’t) has a lot of innovative stuff going on inside.

This one looks similar to the Veritas with some of my thumbs down addressed.

IMHO, the included different sized build rods that can be set into the deck acting as a kind of build “jig”, perfectly aligning your coils with the airflow, is an excellent idea. Wonder who’s idea that was? My money is on Jonboy. 🙂

This one looks like a flavor machine and I’m looking forward to taking her for a test drive.

THE KANGER SUBTANK FIRST LOOK

The Kanger Sub-Tank arrived today. It’s a very complete kit. Comes with a .5 ohm head installed, an additional 1.2 ohm head, a rebuildable Kayfun like deck with a dual coil installed (didn’t measure the resistance of it yet), organic cotton, extra pre-made coils, and a screwdriver.

The 25mm diameter is very surprising and disappointing, at least for me. It’s rather large when compared to the Aspire Atlantis.

Not 100% sure if this is a prototype or the final market version. I’ll let you know as I find out more.

Some photos for you…

“VAPE” IS THE WORD OF THE YEAR!

We’re official!

According to a press release from Oxford, research showed the use of the word “vape” more than doubled in 2014 over the previous year. Couple that with the growth of electronic cigarettes into a multimillion dollar industry and the Oxford editors decided that the word’s time had come.

From Zac

Dear Phil,

Warm greetings from tropical Malaysia about 7,500 miles away from you in the United States!

I was a pack-a-day smoker for 21 years. After finding a local vape shop, I decided to wonder in and see for myself what vaping was all about. The shop owners were a passionate bunch who spent time explaining to me the basics. I bought myself an Ego Style Starter Kit and left excited to try something which had the potential to get me off the analogs.

2nd April 2014 was a significant date for me, it was the first time my friends went outside for a cigarette and I joined them but without smoking. I had no urge to light up nor did I have a craving for a cigarette. And so began my interest in vaping.

Investing in a Provari 2.5 and a Kayfun Lite Plus, the vape shop directed me to your review / tutorial on the Kayfun and I have been a fan since. I find your reviews very informative, unbiased and very helpful both to the new vaper and the experienced. Your videos have helped to turn my initial interest into an enjoyable hobby and more importantly, one which keeps all of us ex-smokers off the cigarettes. I have been cigarette-free since 2nd April 2014, my sense of smell has returned and I do not feel like I have that shortness of breath.

Myself and I know many of your other Malaysian fans, wish you every success in your future endeavors and I know I will continue to watch your reviews and videos with great interest.

Best wishes,

Zac
