LOL & THANK YOU LAZARUS VINTAGE!!
When I was at VapeBlast this year I stopped by to see my friends at the Lazarus Vintage booth. I laughed because they had all their test liquids on Dimitris Mods by Vaping Kiko. So even without my BFF there, I was still pushing his buttons. 🙂
Recently they sent me my very own Dimitris Mod spray painted in a lovely shade of light Dimitris Pink.
AH HA HA HA!! Love it guys! Thanks so much for this and for the liquids as well!
Can’t wait to vape them, but the damn presentation is so beautiful, I don’t even want to break it open!!

TAKE A LOOK – ATLANTIS TEMPERATURE CONTROL COIL HEADS FROM VAPORSHARK
ATLANTIS TEMPERATURE CONTROL COIL HEADS FROM VAPORSHARK
Vaporshark is now carrying NI200 Temp Control Coil Heads for the Aspire Atlantis. They’re .15 ohms. And before you ask… YES, they work with the Atlantis 2 as well. I know, I’m using one as I type this. Well, not AS I type this because then I’d be typing with one finger which would be entirely inefficient, but you know what I mean. 🙂
TAKE A LOOK – THE COILMASTER DIY KIT
Take a look at the new CoilMaster DIY Kit available for pre-order now from their site. It gives you everything you need for rebuilding minus your wick and wire.
Not sure I would have called it a DIY kit as DIY is typically reserved for making your own liquids.
The kit includes:
- Wire cutters
- Needle nose pliers
- Ceramic tweezers
- Micro screwdriver kit
- Curved tweezers
- Scissors
- Ohm reader (to two decimal places)
- Plastic storage box
- CoilMaster coiling kit
It all comes in a handsome zippered storage box.
Will We Be Our Own Downfall? FROM ECIG ADVANCED
I really enjoyed this post from ECIG ADVANCED, “Will We Be Our Own Downfall” because it re-states something I’ve been saying for some time. We’re becoming our own worst enemy.
You see, I personally don’t care how you vape. I don’t care what you vape. I do care that you do it safely and I mostly care that you’re not smoking anymore.
But we are in a very delicate time. Our actions, how we portray ourselves, the community, and the vaping industry as a whole are currently under a microscope by those on the outside looking in.
It would be wonderful if we lived in a world where we don’t give a fuck about what they think, and maybe we’ll get to that time, but right now, that’s simply not the case.
It’s those very people who are trying to regulate us out of existence.
I’ve seen a couple things that really bothered me this week. And I’m not sure who to feel more bad for… us as a community, or the people who fight on our behalf in the world of advocacy every day. What are those things?
Liquids in these bottles…
And then this site:
I feel horrible when Advocates see this kind of thing. The response is typical. Their eyes close, their heads fall, and they shake slowly back and forth. All that work to fight for our rights and telling people we don’t market to minors and then this from within our own community.
If you don’t think this type of thing will be used against us…
Well, you get the idea.
Image is really important right now folks. Just something to think about.

Hi Phil-
I know you get thousands of emails coming at you and I don’t expect a reply. I just
hope you know how much of a difference you are making to people. Here in Indianapolis, I started playing around with vaping about 3-4 years ago. I
started with Blu because – well – their marketing campaign. Cigalikes did nothing
for me so I was soon back to analogs. I tried an ego, but didn’t like the fuss with
their atomizers and not being able to dial in the right voltage threw me back to
analogs. Then, I tried my first box mod last year. The iStick 20W. Now THAT was the
winner. I moved from Boge cartos to the Aerotank mini to – now – an iStick 50W and
the Kanger Subtank Mini. Finding my way to a better vape world is all thanks to your
guidance on YouTube. I really hope that the future gets brighter for us vapers. It
will be an unfortunate day if the feds take vaping from us as we know it. I am
already struggling with the thought of an Indiana with warped vape laws – and that
may be coming all too soon.Thank you for your dedication to getting vape information out to the masses! You ARE
helping people make a better decision with their lives.
THE SX-MINI M-CLASS BY YIHI REVIEW
A PBusardo Review – SX Mini M Class Part 1 & 2
In Part 1 we talk about temp control, some of me experiences with it, take a look at the SX-Mini M-Class top to bottom and compare it to the original, see the differences in the menu, and briefly discuss the numbers and signal for wattage mode. We then kick off looking at the device in temp mode with a discussion about Joules. Ahhhh the Joules!!!
In Part 2 we see just how the SX-Mini M-Class is doing temp limiting as compared to the DNA-40 and do our thumbs up and down.
We also announce the winner of the last contest.

The Post-Review Follow-up:
- I tried to make it evident in the video that the tech itself is having a hard time with the different static resistances of different attys which is causing temperature A not be temperature A on atty B. 🙂 I agree it wasn’t well stated. So yes, I’m well aware that it’s the inherent static resistances of different attys which is causing the need for substantially different temperature settings.
- I used the term PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) in the video. A more accurate term would have been PFM (Pulse Frequency Modulation). I’ll be sure to use this term in the future. The old dog can learn new tricks. Thanks to everyone who pointed this out for me!
- The section of me weighing the device on video made the cutting room floor. This is what happens when you’re editing at 4AM. 🙂 The original SX-Mini w/battery is 195.7 grams. The M-Class w/battery is 264.7 grams.
- Someone pointed out something in the YouTube comments and I agree. Another thumbs up with this device, especially as I begin to look at more temp limiting devices, is the recommended resistance for a temp control coil of .065 Ohms. This is a much more realistic resistance to work with when using NI200. due to it’s extremely low resistance. In other words, I don’t have to do a 30 wrap coil. 🙂
- Thanks for all the questions and comments. I’ll do my best to answer them all.

When deciding on, or curious about anything relative to vaping your
video’s have been more than effective in describing the pro’s and con’s
of devices, along with a lot of info others do not cover.. all while
remaining entertaining and enjoyable to watch. I’m not mailing to ask
any questions, or even need a reply.. just wanted to thank you for the
helpful information & reviews you provide, researching these devices and
knowing what they are really like are two very different things (in my
opinion) and your work has helped bridge that gap. thanks again.
From Denis
Hello Phil,
My name is Denis and I am a new vapor since 4 weeks today. I started watching
videos on youtube like yours and Dimitris (I sent 2 emails to Dimitris but did not
receive any answer back ). I wanted to let him know that I believe he is doing a
very good job with all the warnings about what your Government is doing with vaping.
What is going to happen in U.S. will bounce back in Canada for sure.I watched your videos and they are great. They are very good and funny as well. It
helped me to determine what device I wanted to try. I started with the egrip from
Joyetech and it is now my travel device. I bought recently the Istick 50W with the
Kanger sub tank mini and really like it. Now, I would like to have another sub tank
in order to vape more around 40 watts (with the Kanger mini, even if I build my own
coil, I can’t vape over 25 watts without having a burned taste )I want to tank you for what you do. I believe you help alot of people to quit
smoking tobacco cigarette, starting with me. I am helping my brother in law and
sister in law to quit smoking as we speak. My brother in law dropped from 35
cigarettes per day to 5. He still struggle in the morning and after dinner but he is
getting there. Please keep doing what you do, the way you do it. Great job!
