Could it be? Not another sub-ohm tank? I think so!
This one brought to you by the folks who brought you the Herakles… Sense.
It’s a simple top fill tank that comes with a 1.8 ohm kanthal and a .2 ohm NI200 TC head. Kinda an odd diameter at 20mm and holds 2ml of liquid. Also features a 3 position air-flow control ring.
Not a fan of the wide bore tip on this tank. I think they missed the mark a little on that gearing it more towards a sub-ohm styled tank.
I’m going to give this one a shot as I know many people have been asking me about new mouth to lung tanks, this appears to be one.

Oh Boy! Another one! This one from the folks who bought you the Arctic.
The cuts in this one make it as rough on your hands as it is on the eyes, IMHO of course.
Now I’m not sure who bit who, but this one looks very similar to the Triton. Similar SS coil heads and a virtually identical RBA section (right down to the included wrap tool). Like I said, not sure who bit who, but someone is doing some biting. 😉
On the full size, you do get side filling with a nice big port.
Some additional information:
Horizon Phantom tank utilizes an all new proprietary center system that revolutionizes the way we vape. It is made up of 4 different operational parts. The liquid recycle chamber recycles unused liquid back to the coil.
Vapor travel through the vents on the sides of the baffle then proceeds through the liquid recycling chamber. As vapor travels through the chamber the surface area goes from very small to large, this causes any excess condensation to collect in the chamber and be filtered down the side walls. When enough liquid collects in the chamber gravity causes it to be fed back down onto the coil thus being recycled. (Mmmm… backwash 🙂 )

With this one you can supposedly hit the coils with 120 Watts! Yay!
I say give me similar performance with less watts so I can get better battery life, but what the hell do I know (oh… did I just get cranky there?)

If you recall, the Starre received surprisingly good marks in the Attack of the Sub-Ohm Tanks video. Here we have the new Starre Pro.
This one is designed to be easily top filled and is spring loaded so that when you remove the top cap, it automatically shuts the juice intakes so that you don’t flood it.

NEW IN THE QUEUE – THE JWELL DUPLX – 8/20/15
The Duplx is one part clearomizer, one part RTA, and one part RDA.
If you remember, I talked about these guys in one of the UK videos. I’m impressed by their product offerings if not a little on the pricey side.
The machining on this one looks pretty stellar and I’m looking forward to trying her out in tank mode.
In looking at the design, be careful in dripper mode. Be sure to drip down the side or I have a feeling you could drip down, into, and through your airport. 🙂

It’s been a while since I’ve been impressed by a Sigelei product. I had a chance to use one at my friend Niagara’s house this past weekend and impressed I was. Although I only used it for a while, it worked well in temp and wattage mode, was easy to adjust, felt solid and good in the hand (width was good, but perhaps a little too deep), and the battery covers didn’t wiggle.

NEW IN THE QUEUE – THE VAPOR FLASK BY VAPORSHARK – 8/20/15
I recently received the new Vapor Flask, this time by VaporShark.
I’m really digging it. I like the new rubberized finish better than the original. I seem to have better control of it in my hand. I like the larger DNA-40 screen (so far, no glitches). I also like the new battery caps which have a “flip up handle” removing the need for a coin to replace the batteries (although they are somewhat sharp)
What I really, really, really, and BTW REALLY don’t like is the fact that I can find no battery orientation information on either the device or the included documentation. Maybe I haven’t looked hard enough? Although the DNA-40 now has reverse battery protection, the device itself does not. So as an experiment, I installed the batteries the wrong way. This resulted in heat, smoke, and damn near vented batteries. Not good. IMHO this need to come with a rather large, in your face warning about correct battery installation which is positive side up into the device for both batteries. The good news is the board and device survived.
