Ok gang, here is the deal. I received one of these to review. I was contacted by the vendor because he felt there was an issue with the head unit. So I double checked and sure enough, it ain’t firing anywhere near where it should be. I set it to it’s max setting at 6V, I got the following readings under load:

1.25 Ohm – 3.13V
1.5 Ohm – 3.5V
2.0 Ohm – 4.03V
3.0 Ohm – 4.13V
4.0 Ohm – 4.23V

Numbers were Te Te Terrible! Is this happening with all the head units from all the vendors? Dunno.
But I do know this vendor was proactive enough to contact me, ask me to hold off on the review, and is sending all the units back until they can get the numbers where they should be.

Good thing he got to me before I created the review!!

So recently I’ve noticed people have been signing up for my Twitter feed. You may have noticed you haven’t received a single Tweet from me, because… I DON’T TWEET!

The only reason I even have a Twitter account was to follow Howard Stern’s Tweets which I really don’t do much anymore.

But… since I have it, I figured I could utilize it. I’ve set up this site so that when I make updates, I can Tweet them out to you if you’re signed up to my feed.

If you’ve noticed, the Twitter social icon now appears between the mail and Facebook icons. So if you’d like to follow this site, feel free to sign up and you’ll be notified when I make changes, updates & additions.  Well, at least that’s the way it’s going to work in theory.   It’s all magic to me 🙂

Although the device worked for me in the review, I gave the unit to a friend and it stopped working after a week. I have heard from another user of this as well. In both those cases, the ground wire came off the atty/carto connection. Finally, I’ve just been contacted by LJ.  They said ALL the units, but one have been returned. They have taken care of their customers and pulled the unit from the site. Stay Away!!
