E-LIQUID REVIEWS…
It is with great sadness that I announce the end of “official” e-liquid reviews. There are a number of reasons why including…
- Simply can’t keep up. I’m inundated with hardware and devices to review.
- Huge number of e-liquid companies with more coming every day.
- Similar flavor profiles across lines.
- Varying and unknown degrees of production methods.
- Varying and unknown degrees of testing.
- Unfair to compare a liquid’s flavor that is AP/DI free to one that is not.
- Companies not offering nic levels suitable for beginning vapers.
- Companies using marketing/labeling that could be seen as inappropriate, unprofessional, or targeting minors (whether or not that is the intention).
- How I vape my liquids may not be how you vape your liquids, changing the characteristics and flavor profile.
- Taste is subjective. 🙂
A couple things to note…
Innevape, the current company with the most votes will still get their review.
I will still be tasting liquids behind the scenes. When I come across something that I consider special, I’ll be sure to let you know about it with mentions either in videos or on here, on TasteYourJuice.com.
For those of you who really enjoyed the liquid reviews, my sincerest apologies.
For those of you who have sent and trusted me to review your liquids throughout the years… a very sincere THANK YOU!
LOOK WHAT’S GOING ON AT VAPOR SHARK…
FIRST:
For those of you who don’t know, Vapor Shark and Vapor Flask have teamed up to offer you a redesigned and less expensive Vapor Flask…
SECOND:
Vapor Shark has had every liquid they carry tested for AP (Acetyl Propionyl) and DI (Diacetyl). To see the test results, find the liquid you’re interested in and click “Buy Now”.
I commend then for taking it upon themselves to do this and offering the information to their customers.
It’s still up to you to vape what you want, but for those of you who have concerns, this is some really good public information on many popular liquid brands.

THE CAT’S DNA IS OUT OF THE BAG…
Since it’s been leaked… I’ve asked and been permitted to go ahead and put a post up. Here it is, the DNA-200.
Here’s what I can tell you.
This is much more than a 200 watt board. First of all it’s fully adjustable from 1 watt up to 200 watts. With a kanthal build you’re going to be able to fire all the way up to 200 watts all the way down to .08 ohms.
Of course, this one features temperature control utilizing NI200 or TI (out of the box) with all 200 watts available to maintain the temp of your coil, should you actually be able to do a build that requires that 200 watts.
It’s Evolv’s first firmware upgradable board. So gone are the days of rolling, hidden firmware updates that early adopters of Evolv boards couldn’t take advantage of.
Supposedly, no screen issues on this one! 🙂
However, none of this is the exciting stuff. The exciting stuff is the software. Evolv has provided a tech vaper’s wet dream with the software suite. Connect this board to your computer and hold on.
I’ve seen the software, I’ve played with the software, and being a bit of a tech geek (surprise), I’m blown away by the software.
Evolve has opened up the brain of the DNA-200 and offers you a look inside. You can analyze everything, you can adjust everything, you can customize everything.
This is a vaper’s platform.
This is an enthusiast’s platform.
This is a tinkerer’s platform.
This is an experimenter’s platform.
This is a researcher’s platform.
For those of you who aren’t closet geeks, and don’t want to see, or use, or even be bothered with all the goodies in the software, no worries, you’re still going to get a DNA board that is as easy to use as all the rest and one that vapes just as good at 15 watts as it does at 200 watts (not that I have ANY idea what that is. 🙂 ).
Is this going to be overkill for the majority of vapers in both power and features? Perhaps.
Is it more power than I’ll every need? For now… you bet.
Am I a bit surprised at Evolv putting this out considering their mantra of “solving the cigarette”? Yep.
Do I think Evolv has some ground to cover to regain a portion of the community’s trust? Uh huh.
More coming soon on this new board.

MORE NEW STUFF FROM INNOKIN…
Looks like this company is on a bit of a roll. I think they hit it out of the park with the Coolfire IV (I’m sure the Cool Fire III will be amazing too 🙂 ). They’ve announced temp control with all wire types (I’ll believe that when I test it). Now they’re announcing their new “Slide & Click” InnoCell system.
I’ve heard the Slide & Click cells will also compatible with cordless drills, blenders, small yard equipment, and Dimitris’… well, you know. 😉
Here’s some more information:
The Innokin Disrupter is the latest high powered advanced personal vaporizer and it is the first device to utilize Innokin’s revolutionary InnoCell Vaping Power System LiPo replaceable battery technology.
Safety is at the forefront of Innokin’s vision for a better future and device, battery and charging safety will continue to be one of the most important issues facing the international vaping industry.
With the goal of building a better, safer vaping power technology, our teams of engineers worked tirelessly to create a Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery that’s better than the 18650; a goal that we are extremely happy to have accomplished with the launch of the Innokin Disrupter and InnoCell LiPo Battery.
The InnoCell is a compact high-quality LiPo battery pack with advanced integrated safety features like automatic short-circuit shut off, low voltage reserve and a much longer lifespan with an average of more than 300 charge & discharge cycles – at least 30% more than a standard 18650!
The InnoCell is charged via standard Micro-USB for maximum convenience and also features Innokin’s trusted ‘Vape-While Charging’ pass-through technology to ensure that your vape will always be ready.
The InnoCell will initially be available in 2000mAh and other capacities, with larger packs planned for the future. All are compatible with the Innokin InnoCell Slide’n’Click system; simply choose the charged InnoCell in the color that you like best and ‘Slide & Click’ the InnoCell securely into place to power a day of vaping.
Our dedicated teams continue to strive to lead the way in making the best advanced personal vaporizers available in world today and we appreciate all of the support from our friends, associates and valued customers around the world. With the launch of the Innokin Disrupter and the new Innokin InnoCell LiPo battery we are proud that Innokin once again introduces a new vaporizer technology with the goal of building a better future.
They are estimating these systems will be available mid-July. No word on pricing yet.

VAPE FREE YOUTH
I personally think this is a great idea and shows the integrity of those who are participating. This isn’t something that’s being forced on e-liquid manufacturers and it’s totally voluntary. There’s no cost involved other than the manufactures’ desire to maintain adult oriented labeling, presentation, and marketing. If it’s something you believe in… go for it!
This is a message to the FDA that there are those manufactures out the that care about the industry and the PERCEPTION that liquids are being marketed towards children.
On May 4, 2015, Mitch Zeller, Director of the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products, delivered a Keynote Address to an audience of e-cigarette/vaping industry leaders and stakeholders at the SFATA Conference in Chicago. His remarks included reference to youth, flavors, and marketing and as he looked to the future, he asked the following questions:
- Will the debate continue to be fueled by concerns over flavors and industry behavior?
- What has to change for the debate to be focused primarily on public health considerations with room for an honest dialogue on tobacco use and issues such as relative risk?
- What role will industry play?
- Is the debate going to be centered on the behavior of the industry?
- What will it take to change the debate?
Seeing this as an industry call to action, a collection of industry leading e-liquid manufacturers came together to see if they could find a common set of principles that they would independently and voluntarily commit to in order to address these concerns.
If you’re an e-liquid manufacture you can find out more about Vape Free Youth and get involved HERE!

The Post Review Follow-up:
- 6/3/15 – The new black version and the latest grey version are shipping with new clear screen covers as apposed to the ridiculously dark mirrored covers. Be sure to ask your vendor what you will receive. This change also changes the over rating to a thumbs up.
