The long awaited MiD series has been going through great developmental stage. We strive to provide you with the latest innovation which will not only offer a new vaping experience, but would also boost your business with an innovative product.

We are currently adding a few new features to our MiD such as the ability to program and vape user defined profiles through RMS and DC as well as a new mechanical development that introduces a zero force engaged battery screw lid.

For this reason, we have moved the shipment of your MiD review product to February 4, 2013. This is to give way for these new advanced features to be implemented in our production line and your review set. Hence, we at Janty Technology would like to apologize ahead for the delay. We understand that you’ve been anticipating our product, and it is through this anticipation that we work harder to provide you better technology. A technology that we don’t want you to miss.

My comments to this… Better to make it perfect out of the gate than to rush it to market not ready. I applaud them.

Ok, here’s the deal.  The Vamo has a potential spring issue.   The one I used in the review had, what I believe, was the original thin spring.  Note that I did not, nor do I receive ANY heat from the bottom cap.

People were having issues with that spring (rattly batteries) so they replaced it with a beefier one.  That spring may have an issue.

Is yours effected?  I honestly don’t know.  The post was found on Health Cabin relating to what they call the Bamboo which is a Vamo. Could the issue just be related to units purchased there? Again, I don’t know. I’m just passing along what I’ve heard.

This is one of the problems with all these versions and revisions coming out without proper in-lab, alpha, beta, and field testing and it really needs to stop. A properly tested and rock solid device should be far more important than rushing something to market.

So… if you are experiencing ANY heat from the bottom cap… STOP USING IT and contact your vendor regarding the issue.  Here is the post as seen on Health Cabin…

Dear customers,
We are very sorry to inform you that we discontinue selling eGo Bamboo APV(Stainless/Chrome/Black Chrome) for a while because the big wide spring in the cap has big resistance, which makes the Bamboo cap very hot when Bamboo is working, especially when Bamboo works at a high Voltage or Wattage with a low resistance atomizer.  We are working on new good springs with low resistances and expect to get new springs ready in some days.
We will resume selling the products  and their caps when the new springs are ready.
If you have Bamboos with the wider big wrong springs, please stop using the products and contact us by ticket system.

Looks like the folks at Innokin are still listening. They’ve added cone threading to the MVP allowing it to work with a Kanger T3s without the need for an adapter.

Granted, this is going to make the people who already bought one a little cranky. Personally, I would have waited until they added an Ohm meter, potentially VW, and then re-released it as the MVP 2, but that’s just me. In other words… DON’T SHOOT THE MESSENGER.

If you want the new connection, ask you favorite vendor if THIS is the version they offer.

Note, the T3 will still not fit inside the “beauty ring”.

Let me get this right…

• Uses the 18650 battery
• VV and VW
• Comes in multiple colors
• An OLED screen
• A proper top connection with outer ring airflow to allow for flush sitting tanks (well, almost proper, I can tell just by looking at it that it’s going to restrict airflow.  It needs two more on the 510 connector, two more on the outer ring, and they need to be a little bit bigger IMHO 🙂 )
• A 510 connection that will allow use of a T3 without an adapter
• RMS Tuning (no mean on this one)
• All for around the price of a VAMO??

For the hearing, we issued a Call to Awareness. This is now a related (as noted below) but separate Call to Action. The FDA will use the testimony that was given at the December 17 hearing, plus the written comments submitted by January 16, 2013 as input for the report to Congress required by the Tobacco Act.
