I was curious about something so I looked it up and figured it out.

In NYS, the state makes $4.35 on every pack of cigarettes sold.  In the city, tack on another $1.50.

My habit was a pack day, sometimes more on the weekends.  For this example, we’ll assume a pack a day.

365 x $4.35 = $1587.75

Put the research aside for a second… As a vaper, I’ve personally experienced…

• An improved sense of smell.
• An improved sense of taste.
• No pain from my first deep breath of the day.
• I don’t get winded as fast.
• More energy.
• Less sick days.

We should probably also mention the number of fires that would be prevented per year if all smokers became vapers.

From the US Fire Administration:

an estimated 7,600 smoking-related fires in residential buildings occur annually in the United States, resulting in an estimated average of 365 deaths, 925 injuries, and $326 million in property loss.

As a vaper, NYS has lost $1587.75 from me per year.

From one single person… $1587.75 per year.

So I ask you… do all the proposed bans, tax hikes, and regulations we’re fighting have our best interest and health in mind… or perhaps the pockets of government instead?

Oh well… there’s always the Legal Vape 4000.

Although I took a look at the DNA-20 in the Opus-D review, I wanted a stand-alone DNA-20 video I could refer people to when looking at DNA-20 devices in the future.

If you’ve seen some of the headlines lately, you may have raised your eyebrows.  I’m getting a bunch of questions over it.

The study was done in France and we’ve seen some headlines such as “Study says e-cigarettes contain carcinogens similar to regular cigarettes” and “Report: e-cigarettes are ‘potentially carcinogenic’”

Take a deep breath (which most of us can now do thanks to electronic cigarettes) and read the response from Dr. Farsalinos HERE.

And let’s remember folks, the use of electronic cigarettes is harm reduction, not harm removal.  The safest way to vape continues to be… not to vape.
