NEW IN THE QUEUE – THE ELEAF ISTICK PICO – 4/19/16
So now we begin with the some TINY devices. When I opened the Pico, I thought, wow, that’s adorable. It’s so tiny. By the time I got done with the pile, I thought, WOW, the Pico is HUGE. Watch as this unfolds. 🙂
It comes in multiple colors, uses a single 18650 battery, features temperature control and 75 watts.

NEW IN THE QUEUE – HELL’S GATE TOUCH 200W – 4/19/16
Well, I’ve heard a lot of bad about this one, but we’ll give it a shot.
It feels pretty solid with a rubbery surround for grip. The screen looks really nice. Once of the nicest color screen I’ve seen on mods.
They definitely tried to butter me up a bit by including some background screens on it for me. 🙂
Let’s see if the color touch screen is a gimmick or if it actually adds to the experience and control.

NEW IN THE QUEUE – THE ASPIRE PLATO – 4/19/16
I’ve had this for some time now and it’s one of the pieces we saw when we visited with Aspire in China. Finally have some time to add it to the queue.
This one has an internal tank and coil system and can be customized for the mouth to lung or direct lung experience.
It uses a single 18650 battery (included), has a 4.6ml capacity tank, comes in multiple colors, goes up to 50W, has temperature control, and upgradeable firmware.

Someone was JUST asking me about this tank today and looked in my pile and there it was. It’s a single coil tank and looks up my alley so I’ll try to get to this one.

NEW IN THE QUEUE – WOTOFO SERPENT MINI – 4/19/16
It’s been a while since I’ve posted some New In The Queue and tonight I finally have a chance to organize, sort, take photos, and put them up.
I clearly won’t be able to review all of these, but I can at least share some photos and give you some initial impressions.
Tanks, tanks, and more tanks. How can anyone keep up anymore? The dual coil DL cloud tanks are coming in hot and heavy, but I’ve recently done a comparison in that category so I’m moving onto some different ones. I’ve picked a few out to add to the queue.
This is a cute little tank from Wotofo and I really like the coil mounting system on it. Looks very easy to work with. It’s clearly designed for a larger gauge or clapton type coils, but we’ll see how it does with one of my builds.

THE SQUAPE X [DREAM] REVIEW IS NOW ON HOLD (AGAIN) & A HEADS UP
WHY?
IMHO the Squape has gone from a mouth to lung (MTL) tank, to a MTL tank that tried to do direct lung (DL), and finally with it’s latest iteration, a DL tank that tries to do MTL.
My experience with MTL has been dismal at best with this tank.
First, the airflow is not ideal for MTL. When you tighten it up enough for a comfortable MTL, the air hits the side of the coil by the post not the center. That and the proximity of the airflow to the coil leads to a good, but somewhat harsh vape.
Second, when the airflow is tight enough for a comfortable MTL, the device pulls WAY too much liquid in and it winds up leaking. The issue was really bad with up to a 50/50 PG/VG but still happened a bit with a max VG liquid.
Now, when I open up the airflow and use it as a direct lung, it works pretty well, and I’ve seen very little if any leaking.
So if I were to review this the way it is today, it would be thumbs up for DL and thumbs down for MTL. So the DL crowd may want to have a closer look.
They’ve informed me that they’re working on a new deck that will turn it into a perfect MTL device and suggested I hold off on the review until that deck is ready so I can show the device with both decks side by side. They estimate it will be ready before summer.
So that’s what I’m going to do, but I’m also going to give you a heads up. If you’re thinking about the Squape X [DREAM] for your next MTL tank. HOLD OFF! Hopefully the new deck will solve my issues. Well, at least my issues with the tank, my other issues will require advanced counseling. 🙂
