From Doctor Fasalinos – Smoking, vaping and the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic: rumors vs. evidence
In an article found on Dr. Farsalinos’ page, Ecigarette Research, Dr. Farsalinos writes:
Let’s talk about e-cigarettes now. And that is all I can say (i.e. nothing), we have zero evidence on how e-cigarette use affects coronavirus infectivity and disease progression. There is a lot of evidence that propylene glycol (one of the main ingredients in e-cigarette liquids) has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties in aerosol form. Below is a list of studies I cited in the 2017 book on e-cigarettes that I wrote together with other colleagues:

Let me clarify that these studies do not suggest any effect of propylene glycol on the particular coronavirus strain (COVID-19) that is linked to the global epidemic. Thus, we have no evidence on how e-cigarettes and propylene glycol use may affect disease spread and severity. Moreover, we know that the vast majority of e-cigarette users are either dual users or former smokers, so they experience the adverse effects of current and past smoking, and many may already have smoking-related disease. Thus, they may be in a higher risk group, but this is not due to e-cigarettes. Smokers switching to e-cigarettes would definitely have better prognosis (compared to continuous smoking) if smoking is found to increase infectivity and disease severity.

Hey! I been following you for years on YouTube. lately I have been having anxiety I believe to be caused from high mg nicsalt. I tapered my self down by mixing my own and recently just bought a bottle of watermelon peach from the unsalted line at 12mg. And I absolutely love it. The flavor is amazing and the throat hit is perfect. I usually dont reach out to people but I felt I had to thank you for bringing back a good mtl traditional nic juice. FLORIDA GETS READY TO CALL VOTE ON FLAVOR BAN & TOBACCO TAX
VTA’s Regional Government Affairs Director, Kino Becton, and many representatives of the Florida Smoke Free Association (FSFA) are working hard to fight back against two Senate bills (SB 810 and SB 1394) which seek to define vapor as a tobacco product in order to open the door to the imposition of tobacco taxes. Both bills were called to the state Senate floor for a vote on Wednesday night. However, Senator Simmons (Sponsor) requested that they be temporarily postponed so he could “engage in negotiations with the House to come up with language acceptable to both Chambers”. We believe this action is an effort to get the House to adopt the same language from these bad bills.
As VTA and FSFA continue to fight against SB 810 and SB 1394 on the ground, we NEED your HELP! We ask that you take the time to call state senators and ask them to vote NO on SB 810 and SB 1394. FSFA has the full contact list of senators here.

Regulators, public health agencies and colleagues in academia relentlessly use skewed science and cooked statistics in an effort to delegitimize safer alternatives to smoking.In this episode of RegWatch Dr. Rodu discusses events behind the Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA) retraction of a major study by authors Stanton Glantz and Dharma Bhatta of the University of California San Francisco that purported to show nicotine vaping led to an increase in heart attacks. The study fueled national panic over vaping and Dr. Rodu led the effort questioning the work.
Also, Dr. Rodu addresses RegWatch’s recent questioning of the estimates for annual smoking-related deaths: Why is it that smoking rates continue to fall and the forecasts of smoking deaths stay the same?
