Hello Phil,

My name is Harley and I am still pretty much a newbie to the wonderful world of vaping. I started about 11 weeks ago with blucigs, and while they managed to keep me off cigarettes, I was constantly frustrated and disappointed by their performance. Then I discovered a vaping store about 8 miles from my home here in Cumming, Georgia named Awesome Vapor. They introduced me to Joyetech products and I am now a full blown vaping nut!!! I own 510’s, 650mah & 1000mah eGo’s, as well as Lava Tubes in both full size and mini versions.

As I first began my quest to learn more about vaping, I was amazed to see that there are so many products out there and by the whole vaping culture that I had no idea existed. As I’m sure you know, it can all be very overwhelming to a beginner such as myself. I went to YouTube and began watching videos posted by vapers, sharing tips and reviewing products… which brings me to the reason I am writing you. I find your videos to be some of the most helpful and insightful out there and I like that fact that your reviews are so thorough and honest. I have learned so much from you and have come to respect and trust your opinions. I want to thank you for taking the time to make your videos and share your knowledge with the rest of us. You are definitely an asset to the vaping community. I also enjoy and have learned much from the videos by GrimmGreen and Dr. Vaper, but yours are my favorite and have been the most helpful.

I recently purchased a J-Tank for my Lava Tube based on your review and absolutely love it!!! I wouldn’t have known about it if it wasn’t for you. I also have and use a couple of Smoktech DCT tanks. I know they aren’t your favorite but they seem to perform well for me and I like them. However, the J-Tank seems to peform better and I believe it’s because of the Boge cartomizer I bought to use with it. Cris at Awesome vapor tells me the Boge cartomizers are all you use and I can see why, they seem to really work well. Her and the rest of the gang at AV have been really helpful to me and are just really good people, and their customer service is outstanding!

Yesterday, I saw your video on the Smoktech eGo DCT tank from Kalamazoo Vapor Shop and ordered one to try out because I like to carry my eGo for on-the-go vaping. I am currently using the 3mil Smoktech Mega Cartomizers on my eGo because I like the way they fit, look, and feel. They seem to perform well but I tend to like the DCT tanks better, they just look and feel a little awkward on my eGo. But the new eGo tanks look like they will be the perfect solution. Thanks for the video making me aware that they exist. It was actually a link on Kalamazoo’s website that led me to your Facebook page and I just had to write and say thank you for your videos and all that you contribute to the vaping community, I am definitely a fan.

I apologize if this email is too long winded but I have become very passionate about vaping over the past few weeks and I am very grateful to you for the help you have given me in learning about it and sorting through all the products out there. I was a pack and a half per day smoker for 25 years and have wanted to quit so badly for quite some time now, but just couldn’t seem to do it. I have been smoke free for 11 weeks now, thanks to vaping, and I don’t miss a single thing about cigarettes. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. Thanks again Phil, and keep up the good work.

Thanks so much to Brad, Anthony and the rest of the gang at Juicy Vapor for the warm welcome, hospitality, and bottom line, a really TERRIFIC store/lounge. To those of you who are local to this store, I hope you realize how lucky you are to have such a valuable resource at your fingertips. My entire crew really enjoyed the trip and we’re already talking about taking another ride up there.

To Niagara… My wife and I were just BLOWN AWAY by the kind words and the wonderful gift of the ice wine… not to mention the TATTOO!! OMG!! As I told you in private, I had a tattoo of you as well, but couldn’t show it on camera!! 🙂

What happened?

There were some issues with the performance of the power head on the device.  Gary from Vaporheads actually stopped me from doing the review after he did some personal testing and sent all the heads back to the manufacturer.  Sounds like the sign of a good vendor to me.  He sent the replacement head to me and the review is back in the queue!

I’m getting some questions about the glass tank I received from Kent (THANK YOU!!) at the White Rose event.

They are made by Dan Garduno. I asked him a bunch of questions about his tanks and I’ll have a review for you as soon as I can get to it. In the meantime, if you’re looking for one, here are his links:

So I go to Home Depot looking for a fertilizer with really good crab grass control, but I’ve got the White Rose Vape Meet & video on my mind. So I ask the clerk for something that has “really good CRAB JUICE control”. He looks at me a little funny and says “Crab Juice?” I’m hysterical in my mind thinking, “NOTHING can control CRAB JUICE” BlueMist Vaping is in my head!! 🙂

Phil. For your information, I experienced the same problem with those tanks as you did. I have a fix for you if you are interested. My wife liked them on her mod so i had to come up with a solution. If you replace the inner orings with a Metric Buna-N O-Ring 1.5 mm Width x 9 mm ID. It will fix the problem.

Hi i’m the maker of Siam mods stuff.

If you like tight tanks then i guess the review is fair. The first batch were tight and maybe too tight when using the ”original” tank filler design. Guess you’ll never keep everyone happy. Using a decent drip tip the tank ain’t going anywhere. There’s a variation in DCC and cart diameters and these the larger diameter boges.

I’ll get the thicker o rings out to vendors to give with each tank for the option if they prefer tight or loose and can change to suit

By the way, this is terrific! Yes, everyone would have a different preference as to how they like they’re cartos to fit and their tanks to behave. I personally like a tighter fit for less of a chance of a juice disaster. And I also agree with “Guess you’ll never keep everyone happy”, believe me… I know! 🙂
