After only 2 short months my V-Max has gone bye bye.

Note that this was a V1 (yes, even this has Veez already).  You can tell what you have by turning off the LED.  If the DISPLAY turns off you have a V2 (or perhaps some other V that came after 2).

I have several friends I give units to for long term testing.  It wasn’t dropped or abused.  It still lights up when you put the batteries in, but it no longer fires. Could be a button issue, but I can’t figure out a way to get in there.

Also, the paint chips off very easily and someone showed me a unit at the New England vape meet that had stripped threads on the battery cap.

I hope yours fares better.

Hey Mr.Busardo i just wanted to finally drop you a line because you are
responsible for me getting off regular cigarettes. Since doing alot of my own
research and watching your reviews and then reading some more almost to the point of
obsession. I have quit smoking and taking up vaping it was a rocky ride from the get
go. Thankfully mom and pops vapor shop were there to help me through some of the
issues i had with my ego since i started. I see your trips to vape meets as well as
your normal device/carto/atty reviews and it looks like you know how to have fun.

Hopefully I will be able to save up some coin and come to the vape meets in new
york that I see happen it kinda sucks that we do not have anything of the sort
locally here in Virginia Beach. Hope this reaches you and keep doing your thing
man!

Hello Phil,

I don’t mean to waste your time but just to acknowledge what a great help you
provide to those aspiring to quit smoking. I did a lot of research when going for
the perfect electronic cigarette and you are the only one that cut to the chase and
told us how it was in your videos. I am from Texas originally and can smell bullshit
a mile away. I purchased an eGo-C over a month ago and have been smoke free ever
since. I was lucky enough to get one of the remaining Oddyseus from COV and can’t
wait for it to come in. Thank you Phil for your hard work and dedication.

It was a long day, but I’m home safe and sound.  It was well worth it!

THANK YOU!! for the warm welcome, and the really good time with really good people.

There aren’t many places you can go all alone on a 5 hour drive, walk into a room full of people you’ve never met before and feel completely at home amongst friends. Vape Meets are an exception!

Oh, also, thank you for the hours of my life tomorrow getting all the bugs off the front of my car. 🙂

So the original plan was to do a full blown review video review on these two, but there’s a lot for me to get to.  I may still do it… who knows.

Here is my real quick take on these.

THE VIVA NOVA TANK

Built pretty well, very easy to fill due to the screw-on caps, good price, nice packaging… but!! … everything I put into it had muted flavor and came across as slightly burnt no matter what voltage I fired it at.  For me, it’s just not a saturated enough vape.

This one gets “no thumbs” from me 🙁  I’ve had worse.

THE PHOENIX BOTTOM COIL CARTO

Decent price, comes with a syringe for filling.

I’ve got no problem filling it with a syringe.  It is what it is.
I’ve got no problem filling it upside down.  It is what it is.
The problem I have is that it’s always dry UNLESS I take a quick, firm, unpowered puff before I vape it.  If I do take that quick, firm, unpowered puff before I vape it, it does deliver a pretty good vape in VTF.

Problem is… I DON’T WANT to take a quick, firm, unpowered puff before I vape it 🙂

This one gets a “no thumbs” since it does work for me IF I take a quick, firm, unpowered puff before I vape it.

Get the point?

If these are working for you and your happy… GREAT!!  For me… not so much.   🙁
