From Jason

Hey Phil,
Feels odd usin’ your first name, but hey…..been watchin’ your videos for weeks now so
I feel entitled.

Anyway, just wanted to say THANKS! for the time and effort you put into everything. It has helped me a lot. And this is coming from someone who was never a smoker. I sorta fell into vaping as a means of coping with my medical condition. I had a complete gastrectomy about 2 years ago due to a rare stomach disease that is most quickly described as “pre-cancer” or “cancer-lite.” It’s called Menetrier’s Disease. And that’s not a typo, although if you search for it, google will try to auto-correct it into something else.

Anyway, no need to waste more of your time just talking about my own sorry state of affairs. To vaping! Vaping is a way for me to experience flavor without eating. I’m a big food guy. Like ALL kinds of food. But, now I have to “graze” and be very careful about what I consume. Vaping lets me enjoy flavors that are mostly off-limits to me now.

And your reviews and videos have REALLY helped me to find the right equipment and juices. So thanks for the hard work, and keep it up!

Jason

SOFT BEATS OUT CRUNCHY? SERIOUSLY??

I know taste is subjective, but COME ON! Soft edged out crunchy by a score of 124 to 119 (do I really need to make a chart). Personally, I’m a crunchy guy!

More reviews coming soon!

Please don’t forget that this site Tweets updates out, but I don’t nor do I respond. So if you’ve respond to a Tweet, please don’t think I’m an a-hole for not answering.

Also, I haven’t been on the forums very much so if you’d like to shoot me a question please use pbusardo@tasteyourjuice.com. That’s not a knock against forums, it’s simply a limitation of my time which is in the red at this point due to this effort.

Thanks all!

Looking forward to seeing many of you at the NY VapeFest!!

WHAT’S BEHIND THAT DOOR AND THE WNY/SOUTHERN ONTARIO VAPE MEET

A PBusardo Video – What’s Behind That Door? – Not To Be Missed!

With my very special guest Dimitris the Vaping Greek The “Kawl King” 🙂
A great conversation about devices, keeping your head, and vaping safety.
Includes footage from the WNY/Southern Ontario Vape Meet!
And of course, some comedy thrown in for good measure.
ENJOY!

Oh, and BTW – Dimi T juice is a nice name, but I would have called it “Feta Fluid” 🙂

… or should I say Ball Busting & Banter Bound??

Put me, Andre, and DIMITRIS (the real one) in the same room and who knows what will happen, but it will be fun.  I’m both excited and frightened at what awaits.

I’m headed up with my good friends Coach Erock, Shari, & Drew (who will now give me shit for his name appearing last).  Hope to see you there!

BUFFALO VAPE MEET (AKA THE WNY/Southern Ontario Vape Meet):
Saturday, February 23rd – 1PM-5PM
The House Of Vapor -1565 Kenmore Avenue, Kenmore NY 14217

THE JANTY MID ONE – FIRST LOOK

So here it is, the Janty MiD One. So far, I’ve put the batteries in and looked at the pretty blue light.
Note that this is a “prototype” version and may not look exactly like the final production unit.

I may not shoot a video until I get the production unit in my hands, but as I play with it, I’ll blog about it.

My initial impression… it’s cylindrical.

DID SOME DIDING TONIGHT

Did some more playing with my DID tonight (yeah, I know that doesn’t sound right).

Again, I was using the porous ceramic or the FC2000 wick. BTW – It was nice to pull this wick out of the old build, quickly torch it, and have it coming out looking like new.

First, I played with some ribbon wire, maybe also known as fettuccine wire. HATED IT! Even after torching it, it was WAY too springy. Got frustrated and gave up.

Then, I tried some twisted or braided 32 AWG. Wound up with a 1.0 Ohm coil in the DID, mounted it up on the EA mod, threw in a MNKE 18650 and DAMN! Nice vape! I think the coil maybe eating up the juice faster than the wick can handle it.

Very impressed with the braided wire so far and I feel it works every bit as good, if not better than the 28 AWG, but I certainly don’t have enough of time to say for sure.

A tighter wrap, or perhaps some cheesecloth (according to the maker of the wick) wrapped around the wick may help.

There goes my 15 minutes of free time for the day!

Thanks for the tips everyone!
