FAIL BEFORE I EVEN VAPED IT – THE SIGELEI 100 WATT BOX MOD
The f*cked up piece of copper you see in this device is the only thing left of the pin in my new Sigelei 100 Watt Box mod after attempting to unscrew it to get it to make contact with my Kayfun. This has rendered the device completely useless before my very first vape off it.  It comes with another one, if only I could get the original one out. Judging by the comments I’m seeing on Facebook already, I’m not the first this has happened to.
For the record, yes, I knew the pin was reversed threaded. It stuck, stripped, then munged. I lovingly refer to that as the SSM. 🙂
Cranky Phil will contact the vendor tomorrow.
Also very surprised to NOT find an on-board charger in this one.

VAPEXPO IN PARIS FRANCE!
I’m both honored and humbled to have been invited to attend VapeExpo in Paris France! Luckily Jean-Philippe Boutin of La Vape Shop in Montreal is coming along as well and will be my personal interpreter!!
(I tried Rosetta Stone, but apparently you need more than a week to master the language 🙂 )
I’ll be there all day on Sunday 9/21 and Monday 9/22 and perhaps part of Tuesday as well.
I’m so looking forward to this, to meeting new friends from overseas, and to experience vaping from their perspective.
I plan on bringing all of you along with me through photos and video.

A PRETTY SWEET PIECE… THE VAPOR FLASK V2!
I held the prototype of the Vapor Flask V1 in my hand during my visit to Evolv. The V1s are all gone at this point, but they’re getting ready to launch the new V2 now with user replaceable batteries.
This is a really nice, solid, well done PV machined from a single piece of aluminum minus the top assembly. It utilizes the 510 connection from Fat Daddy Vapes, the DNA-30 board from Evolv and has room for two 18650s (Sony VTCs are currently recommended).
Vapor Flask is milled from aluminum and anodized
and is intended to have a durable finish that does
not show fingerprints.
I especially like the 22mm aspect to the curved ends which makes is look “right” with a 22mm tank or dripper attached.
From what I understand the soft launch will be during the ECC event. A limited number will be available there.

HEADS UP – THE BAKERY OVENS ARE SLOW THESE DAYS
I’ve received a bunch of complaints about horrendous delays in shipping from Ms T’s Bakery.
Please note that I’m not the vendor police. I have no control over things like this.
They are not listed as a trusted vendor and if they were, they’d be removed until the issues clear or not added back in.
They are listed in my favs section and that does not change. It’s still a good juice. The fact that they are there is the reason for this post.
So this is a heads up and suggestion to avoid this vendor until the issues have cleared. I’d also suggest some better communication from the vendor to it’s customer base.
