SWEET LOOKING LITTLE RIG COMING FROM KANGER…
Kanger is getting ready to launch their Kbox Mini Starter Kit. They’ve sent this along so I’m posting it. I’m digging the look of the black kit. As I find out more, like price and availability, I’ll update this post…
BTW – I STILL see “Lamborghini” every time I look at that logo! 😉
- Update – 5/18/15 – Estimate 10 days before it starts shipping to market. Estimate around $80 for the kit.

IPV4 – CHARGE PORT UPDATE
I’ve talked to Pioneer4You and a couple other contacts and according to them, the charge port on this device is done properly and safe:
Q) Why that charge port again?
A) We use a 9V charge port here, all of the problems happened in v3 were solved now.
Q) Are the batteries in series or parallel?
A) The batteries are in series.
Q) Why no included charge cable?
A) Because the cost would be to high.
Q) Is it safe to use the charger?
A) It’s a safe charger.
Q) Is it a balanced charger?
A) It’s a balanced charger.
Q) Why no USB charging?
A) As the batteries are in series on the charging design, we need a 9V charger, but there is only 5V on USB port, it’s not enough good for our charging design.
Q) Why is this port being used again if it was deemed unsafe and removed from the IPV3?
A) As we have solved all of the problems on v3, we use this port again, it’s absolutely safe
Q) How many amps can you charge it at?
A) You can use a 2A charger to charge the batteries.
I’m doing a little torture testing on my own to validate this. If it passes, I’ll move ahead with the review.

From Andy…
Hi Phil,
I became a fan of your videos a little while ago. A friend from work (Sean) was
using a Nautilus when I was smoking. Let me tell you…it fascinated me. Due to
money issues, I bought a CE4, which broke two days later, I then took the plunge and bought a Kanger Aerotank V2, which was pretty decent. I always had issues with the stick batteries in my pocket, they kept snapping in my pocket. My partner bought me a Nautilus and a MVP mod for my birthday, and man…I’ve never looked back.I’ve watched all of your reviews for the past few months, and I love them. I know
some people might think they are a bit long, but I like the detail, I love the
technology and I love the banter you have. I’m thinking of getting a Kanger Subtank on the back of your review, I’m wondering if I should get a Smoktech M80 plus to go with it. There’s a store in the UK called Vaporized (amazing liquids by the way, especially the USA range of Ice flavours) and they suggested the M80. If you already have, I’m asking a stupid question…but could you do a review of it please? Your word is the only one I trust when it comes to vaping. Lots of stores have an agenda and certain brands to upsell, and I love that you are impartial. I would also love to see a few liquid reviews if you have time.I hope you enjoyed the Vape Jam event, I was working and unfortunately couldn’t
come. I just want to say, I read your story on the site, and a lot of it really hits home with me. You’re an awesome guy, and smokers and capers alike need your videos.Keep doing what you’re doing.
All the best,
Andy

THE FINER THINGS…
Some people buy Bic pens, others will only write with a Mont Blanc. Some people will tell time perfectly with a Casio and others will only stare down at a Rolex or a Hublot. Some people will be happy driving their Hyundai to 7-11 to get their Slurpee and others jump in their Ferrari, Lamborghini or Bugatti.
With all things, there are great price ranges and selection for you to choose from. Vaping is no different. There’s something out there for everyone.
You can get an amazing vape in the $30-$50 range these days. But for those who like the finer things, Crovape has you covered.
From their $80 Crotip drip tips to their $450 base Cromod to their $4,700 Cromod VIP Swarovski Crystal version to their $313,370 (yes… three hundred thirteen thousand, three hundred seventy dollar) 15 carat diamond encrusted Cromod mechanical, these are among some of the most beautiful and finest mechanicals I’ve seen.
Crovape is a Croatia based company with the ultra high end market in their sights.
Will these vape THAT much better than less expensive mechanicals? No. But then again, how much better will you be able to read a sentence written with a Mont Blanc over a Bic?
I was able to get an interview with this company at VapeJam UK, and they were kind enough to supply with a unit to review (no, not the $200,000 model… DAMN! 🙂 ). Look for that interview along with the review coming soon.
In the meantime… some vape porn for you…
BTW – The diamond version is not pictured below. But you will find the very first photos of their new Cromod VIP Swarovski Crystal version. Plan on that one setting you back a couple thousand.

Comment: Hey Phil, just wanted to say I appreciate what you do. I too was a long
time smoker and used vaping to stop. I only recently started getting into what I
call “real vaping” and purchased a subtank mini and Aspire sub ohm battery. I
stumbled upon your videos and wanted to say thanks. You do a great job of explaining
the technical side of this in a way even a noob like me can understand, lol!Anyway. Thanks again and I look forward to watching more of your videos.
