When I found out this was heading my way, I was excited and that doesn’t happen very often when it comes to mods. Why? Because not too long ago, the Stingray from JD Tech was one of my fav mechs. Now they not only have a box mod, but also a stab wood version.
BTW – “not too long ago” is around 2 years which is like 15 in vape years. 🙂 Thanks a lot for slowing down all of that progress FDA. Sincerely appreciated (sarcasm intended).
She’s a sexy beast. She’s powered by a Yihi SX350J V2. Would LOVE to see this in a DNA-75 variety as I do prefer that board.
The 510 is a silver plated copper and is spring loaded, the 510 threading is stainless.
She’s also an expensive date. You’re going to pay a suggested retail of $550 for this one and they will be available at www.dragonsdenvapor.com.
Since I’ve already done a review of the SX350J V2, this one will likely show up as a show and tell in a video coming soon.

Ok, is anyone else getting confused by the “plethora” or product coming from Joyetech?
You gotta love them though. They continue to come up with unique and innovative ways to get you to spend your money on the same product. 🙂
Ok, I’m kidding (a little). The eVic VTC Dual is one part Innokin Disrupter, one part eVic VTC Mini, and one part “squished” Cuboid.
With this one, you can remove the control head, much like the Innokin Disrupter. You then have a choice of two battery holders which will change the size and wattage capability of the device. Use the single 18650 battery holder and you get a slightly larger eVic VTC Mini (see photos – the Dual is on the left) with a max of 75W. Use the dual 18650 battery holder which will give you a much larger device and the 150W… kinda like a “squished” Cuboid.
This one comes in black, white, blue, burgundy, and orange.

Remember the Arctic Dolphin Adonis review I did? Well, it’s like that only bigger.
Arctic Dolphin Adonis Plus is the first 100W stabilized wood box mod with temp control in China market.Fashion and cool facade.It can support Ti/Ni/Pt/SS wires.Arctic Dolphin Adonis Plus will be your first choice for the vapers.
The main difference between this and the original Adonis is that this one uses a 26650 and… supposedly… does 100W. I say “supposedly” because I didn’t have much luck getting the Stout to hit 100W using several different 26650 batteries.
I’m a little surprised that it doesn’t come with an adapter allowing you to use an 18650. I’m also surprised at the size of this especially when I sit it next to the Hotcig DX75 which also uses a 26650 (see photos).
Although the woodwork on this one looks better than the original Adonis, it still just doesn’t… well… “feel” like the asking price. Some of you will know what I mean. I only saw one price for this out there and it was $250. I would imagine many would have an issue paying that price and only being able to select the frame color as well, which I believe is how it works.

THE INNOKIN ITASTE HUNTER VAPE
Here’s the last one for the day from Innokin… the Hunter Vape.
This is a unique looking piece, which I’ve come to expect from Innokin. They’re calling it “rugged and perfect for the outdoors”, but I’m not seeing any water proof or resistant specification. Hmmm…
The device uses an 18650 and features variable wattage up to 75W, temperature control for SS 316L, NI200 or TI coils, and will fire down to a .1 Ohm load.
Quite surprising to not see an on-board charger these days, so you will need an external one for your 18650.
The kit is paired with an iSub V tank.
Also, the little clip on the side. What is that for? I don’t know! Is it a belt clip? It is a bottle opener? Is it just for looks? Is it to get caught on something and tear the mod out of your hand? I’m really not sure. I searched the box for a lanyard or something for your belt or SOMETHING with no luck. Nothing in the manual either. I’m having one of those, “don’t garnish unless you can eat the garnish” moments. 🙂

It uses an 18650 battery (not included) and supposedly you “attach your favorite DTL or MTL coil and the SmartBox will AUTOMATICALLY detect the resistance and set the perfect wattage to deliver an amazing vaping experience. One button, perfect vape!”
Now of course the “perfect wattage” is being dictated by someone who is not you, and only you know the perfect wattage for you, so this type of thing always concerns me. I guess we’ll see when we get to it!
You’re probably going to want to keep TC coils such as NI, TI, and possible SS off of this one, and as you can see below, they’re only recommending kanthal coils.

Innokin has a few new devices out and here’s the first one for the day. It’s the iTaste EZ.TC.
This one has a built in 1500 mAh battery, comes in 7 different colors, and features a dial on the bottom (which I originally tried to unscrew to put the battery in 🙂 ). The dial has 4 settings which correspond to 4 different temperature settings (see photos).
It comes paired with the iClear20D tank and does TC and dry burn protection with the included SS316L EZ.TC Coils.

SEVIA-USA CONFERENCE HELD IN SHENZHEN
On September 3rd, SEVIA (Shenzhen Electronic Vaporizer Industry Association) held a conference in Shenzhen, the heart of electronic cigarette industry, to discuss the FDA deeming regulations and the latest status of the lawsuit that SEVIA-USA financially supported.This was truly a historic event in a standing room only of around 140 manufacturers and distributors of vapor products.
Dimitris Agrafiotis Chairman of SEVIA USA presented the current FDA regulatory regulations and what the organization has done so far assisting the advocacy and litigation efforts. He also presented the challenges that lay ahead.
Azim Chowdhury, partner of Keller and Heckman LLP at Washington office and expert of FDA regulations, explained the latest interpretation of the FDA deeming regulations from legal point of view.Mr. Chowdhury reviewed lawsuits against FDA in the past, which shaped the e-cig industry, and how the e-cig industry came under the control of the FDA. From a legal point of view he explained where FDA is violating laws with their deeming regulations and Azim also brought us up to date with the latest status of the lawsuit that SEVIA USA has financially supported.
Dan Donahue, a representative of the vape shops in the US and owner of Good Karma Vapor, gave a moving speech about the serious situation facing businesses in the United States and how all of us must work together in order for vaping to survive.
The conference was a huge success that yielded an increase in membership for SEVIA-USA and announcements coming very soon.
Thursday September 8th also marked a historic moment when SEVIA-USA board and members met at the SMOK company headquarters. Fierce competitors setting aside their differences and discussing the upcoming challenges. Present were, Aspire, Innokin, Kanger, Smok, Joyetech, Wotofo, Sense, EhPro, IJOY, Ave40, Horizon, Tesla and Elego. The meeting yielded wonderful results and commitment for additional financial support to the efforts of SEVIA-USA.
