As many of you know during our trip to China we had a rare opportunity to talk to manufacturers at a conference held by the newly formed SEVIA (Shenzhen Electronic Vaporizer Industry Association). What I’m most proud as a result of this trip was being able to get manufacturers involved in further research on the products currently used by vapers.
Dimitris played a paramount role in this with an outstanding presentation given to SEVIA.
We received commitments from various SEVIA members to help fund such research and today the Tennessee Smoke Free Association, a non for profit dedicated to tobacco harm reduction, announced a new study evaluating the consistency, repeatability and magnitude of nicotine delivery from the liquid to the aerosol using new-generation atomizers and devices compared to 1st generation electronic cigarettes.
More research is always needed. We need the information to make better decisions as vapers and we also need the information to combat those who want to regulate us out of existence. My sincerest appreciation to those who contributed…
