Thought this was a cool story to share…
So I was working a vape meet in Memphis. I work the Smartvapes.com table. I
work while Alan takes pictures, videos and helps people. It was starting to
get later in the evening and a lady came by to get a dripping atomizer. My
phone just happened to lose it’s charge, so I couldn’t run credit cards
anymore. Told her I had to charge it and asked if she could wait. She did, and we
talked. She was a smoker, with lots of questions. A friend had brought her to
the meet. She stayed late to talk to me, and then we parted ways.I contacted her later to ask if she had any questions that I could help
with. She said that her ego battery died AND her car wasn’t working. I arranged
to meet her after work with a new battery and a lift! We ended up at the local IHOP
with a few fellow vapers to help her. I drove her home, but got sick from
something I ate. She invited me in to sit and rest till I felt better.
I ended up sleeping the night away on her couch.
Next came a whirlwind of dates, romantic getaways, and trying to show the world
about our love for electronic cigarettes and each other. I proposed to her March
26th 2013. She said YES! I found all of this because of vaping.I have met a wondrous amount of people from the vape meets, and talk to many
with problems or questions they may have. But I never thought I’d find the love of my life
at a vape meet!Chris
