It’s Time To Get VERY Loud!

On Friday, November 19th, the U.S. House of Representatives passed President Biden’s spending package bill referred to as the “Build Back Better” bill.

The original draft of the bill contained increases in the federal cigarette tax and tobacco tax rates, as well as increases to those of eliquid and alternative nicotine products. However, the bill was amended before passing the House vote, and the proposed increases on cigarette and tobacco taxes were removed from the legislation.

The new version of the bill still includes a tax on nicotine-containing e-liquids and alternative nicotine products, such as synthetic nicotine.

Specifically, Biden’s “Build Back Better” bill assesses a tax of $50.33 per 1,810 milligrams of taxable nicotine, which threatens to significantly increase product costs.

This bill is dangerous and cannot be allowed to pass!
