“The Chief Secretary, Matthew Cheung Kin-chung has written to the Legislative Council president, Andrew Leung Kwan-yuen, urging the legislature to complete scrutinizing 31 bills and resolutions before the summer recess in July. Cheung said there are still nine weeks and eight meetings left for this Legco session, and the bills and resolutions include banning the sale of electronic cigarettes. He said they will be invalid if they are not passed at the end of the current session.”
