Hi Phil,
First of all I would like to thank you for you entertaining reviews.
I am off the fags for nearly three month now as my son developed early childhood
asthma a while ago. The doc told me even though I am not smoking indoors (house/car)
at all the smoke will stay on my clothing for quiet a while and this would not help.
I tried first the usual stuff, patches, gums.. didn’t work at all. Having a
stressful job did also not help at all, it was more the opposite…I went even down the chemical route with Champix….. It worked quite OK in the
beginning however I started to get seriously weird dreams so I went off from the
drugs and shortly back on to the fags again….I had some early adopters for e-cigs at work who were on them for years and they
tried to convince me however…. well, even though I wanted to quit smoking I
dismissed their claims as the usual disposable sold at the gas station around the
corner etc wasn’t really satisfying. After staying another night in hospital a couple of months ago because of a severe
asthma attack of my son I really started thinking again and I decided to invest some
further research into the matter and I ended up on your website and learned a lot.
After rurther reading into the matter I ordered my first e-cig, a Kanger Evod and
e-liquid with 18mg Nicotine. I pledged to myself only to use the Evod and no more
smokes and it worked. After the first month however I looked what else is out there and opted for a Vamo
V5 and a Kanger Aerotank. That one was even better and I discovered the pleasure of
trying different flavours. After the second month fag free I reduced my nicotine level to 12mg and discovered
the joy of RBAs. Having the knack of “tinkering” with stuff this was ideal and I
noticed that this actually can evolve into a hobby (tinkering) and while I am
writing this nearly into 3 month without touching a cigarette I am enjoying a vape
with a Kayfun on a Stingray X while my son is in bed and I do not have to go outside
into the lovely weather Ireland has to offer at this time of the year….. (hint, it
is not sunshine and it includes a lot of rain and wind). So thank you for all your time and effort you put into your hobby to share it with
the “world”.This is actually the first website I saw that does change your life without charging
any money for it or for that matter claiming to change it in the first place, but it
did (and believe me, I see a ton of them every day at my job who claim to change
your life and only want your money). 🙂Kind regards,
Chris
