RegWatch reports today that the extraordinary and unprecedented flood of fake comments into the network hosting the public consultation process for FDA’s proposed Regulation of Flavors in Tobacco Products is much higher than previously known.
With the comment period now closed, staff at Regulations.gov have confirmed to RegWatch that 95% of the 525,000 comments received into the system are indeed BOT submitted comments or are otherwise duplicate in nature. It’s a stunning revelation.
