Remember when carto tanks were a thing?
This is a test I came up with to measure how well a cartomizer tank holds onto a carto. The test uses a fish scale that holds the force at the point of failure. At the time of the test, the tank is clean and dry and a brand new Boge cartomizer is used (also clean and dry). Many things will affect the outcome of this test including juice in the tank, different cartomizers, o-ring wear & tear, etc. It’s simply designed to give you an idea of how well the carto will hold and prevent a possible “juice catastrophe”.
Note that when I do this test, I always hold the tank by the body. This will show the weakest point of failure, either the cap seal or the carto seal.
