I receive success stories all the time from people who have watched my reviews or have had questions answered by me and because of that, they have successfully made the transition to vaping or continue to vape.
I also receive some very nice emails from folks who thank me for what I do. I very much appreciate these as well.
They give me the encouragement and the pat on the back that validates what I’m doing and makes all the time and effort involved worth while.
These are my trophies proudly displayed. This is what it’s all about. This is why I do what I do.
To those of you who have written me and allowed me to post your stories… Thank you!
To those of you who need encouragement… I hope some of these stories give you what you need.
To me… These give ME encouragement to continue doing what I do. So I THANK YOU again!

Just wanted to drop you a quick message and say thank you. I do my damnest
to catch all of your reviews, and so it’s just been for future reference. Till
today. Today I finally received my aga t in my vape mail, also with another
package with Bobas I and gorilla juice. Now I’ve never owned a Genesis atomizer,
hell I’m just a little over six months off the nastiness.I managed to get my wick to wick first try, and forth try I got a coil wrapped up
to two ohms. And i have to say it’s
Because of the information from your videos…. Thanks

In 2009 I was told I had COPD. I still continued to smoke. In June of 2013
I started researching e-cigarettes. Found you and with the information I got from
your videos, bought an Ego style battery and clearomizer. I have since upgraded to a
K101 and carto tank but the main point of this is I have been smoke free since July
6 2013 after smoking for 40 years. The patch, gum, even prescriptions did not work.
Vaping did. As to the FDA, they are just upset they are not getting a cut of the
profits like they do with tobacco cigarettes. Thanks for all the information you
share. Keep up the excellent work!

Hey Phil,
Just wanted to follow up with you and let you know how it is going. I quit on January 1st this year and you were kind to respond to my emails. It has been a strange journey (ha!) over the last several months, but as of today, no analogs, no cigarettes for me, period. I have been watching the videos, based on your advice I purchased a provari mini, plus I have the ego batteries for backup and just purchased an iTaste MVP 2.0.. The Kanger ProTanks have worked the best for me to hold the juices, right now I use Ecto Chill, versus a lot of different juice.
As you mention in your videos, whatever keeps us from smoking is a good thing!
So far this year, I have avoided over 10,000 cigarettes, and saved money in the process. My health is better, much better, For a 53 year old guy, I’m doing good. My wife is amazed that I could quit like that. She knows the name PBusardo, ha!
So, I just wanted to say thank you again, you are always welcome at my house here at Lake Lanier in North Georgia, you are doing great work and saving more people and their lives with your advice than you know. I actually have directed a few of my neighbors and friends to tasteyourjuice, they love your work too! Plus, a couple have quit smoking.
I’m sure that many people tell you thank you, but I want you to know that you and your site is a major factor in my success in getting away from smoking over 2 packs per day for 25 years. Please call on me if I can ever assist you in the future, best to you and your family Phil.
Regards,
Gerald

I have been researching e-cigs for a couple weeks now. I tried a couple
disposables and the act of vamping helped severely cut my cravings for having an
analog cigarette. However the tasted horrible and would end up costing me more than
buying a pack of analogs. I decided to go on reddit and youtube about other e-cig
options and became completely overwhelmed. I read everything i could find and
watched countless videos and still didn’t feel much confidence in what exactly i was
watching/reading. Your beginners guide video has been a tremendous help. It is the
most informative and easy to understand guide out there. I was starting to get
frustrated always being confused. You have given me the confidence to pursue this to
ultimately stop smoking. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into
educating others. Keep up the good work. Thanks again.Shane

Just a brief intro… When I was 18 I started smoking and that lasted for 11 years. Cigars, cigarettes, dip/pouches etc. After seeing enough guys at work vaping, I decided to check it out. I spent a solid month reviewing and learning from you and GrimmGreen. My job has me out in the field, climbing things, traveling, harsh weather etc. I needed a simple setup that could also handle the abuse. For my birthday I decided to make the investment. I settled on the ProVari and Protank. With your Melon Boba recommendation, I have a set-and-forget rig that has performed flawlessly and has withstood some serious punishment (and drops). I have been smoke free since 6/8/13. Not a single cigarette or anything else. Massive thanks for providing detailed information in a way that an OCDer like myself could sift through.
As for the Kanger Protank vs Protank 2. I had the exact same experience. The initial Protank worked great and I was waiting for the upgrade, so I was a little frustrated when the Protank 2 cut the airflow off when tightened down all the way. After swapping the base between the two tanks, the Protank 2 works perfectly. Thanks for giving me the idea in your video review, I was almost disappointed in the purchase.
Again, thank you for everything!

Phil, thanks so much for what you have done for the vapeing community, but more for what you have done for me. After a stay in the hospital for back surgery I started vapeing the blu e-cigs and it worked for a while but I was about to give up and go back to my 28yr. smoking death sentence, but I got on the internet and searched for e-cig reviews trying to find something better before I started back and there you were, I know it sounds strange but I have considered you a friend ever since. You, and Nick,GrimmGreen, and Demetrius, May have saved my life, I have been smoke free since April 24, 2013 and vaping is my new passion I tell people about it all the time, have given away several ego style kits to people hoping I can do for them what you did for me, sort of paying it forward, Thanks again and I think the from the chair segment is great it has a one on one feel to it. Vape on!!!

Dear Phil,
I wanted to send you an email to thank you for getting me into vaping. I was a pack a day smoker for about ten years and I quit two months ago. I feel so much better and it is great. Vaping has become one of my all time favorite hobbies now. I really love the fact you are an entertainer at heart and enjoy making people feel good. The money I am spending on gear is crazy…… but I love it. Your personality really helped me to be excited about vaping because I had tried e cigs years ago and it failed miserably. I also love the fact you are very technical as well because I am the same way. Im not an engineer like you but I’m really into that kind of thing, even though I have a degree in Philosophy. I am starting a new career in the medical field so vaping will save me from a lot of scrutiny from my co-workers. I have been a chef in fine dining for a long time and most people in the restaurant industry smoke. I know I’m rambling on and I’ll stop now. I wish you all the best and keep up the great work.
Sincerely,
Tom

Dear Mr. Busardo,
I am writing this because in my opinion, you helped save my life. In terms of vaping I am a relative newbie. I have only been vaping since March of this year, well full time since May, but I’ll get to that.
In March my girlfriend and I were visiting a friend a friend and he had an EGO twist. My girl was all for it. Two days later she was buying a pair of EGOs with nova tanks. To tell you the truth it was a novelty as far as I was concerned. I would use my vaporizer every once in awhile, but still smoked pretty heavy. I had been smoking two to three packs a day since I was sixteen, so almost twenty years. Then towards the end of April I was sitting on the porch having a cig and having a hard time breathing. When I went inside, I looked at Kit (my gf) and said, “ If I don’t quit smoking I’m going to die.” Roughly two weeks later, May 9th to be exact, I started having intense pain in my legs and chest. To the emergency room we went. There I found out that I had a series of what should have been fatal embolisms. Blood clots had done damage to my lungs, liver, pancreas, were surrounding my heart and slowly traveling towards my brain. I can’t tell you how frightening that was. For the first time in my life I was terrified. After nine days in the hospital I went home. Only to find i still wanted to smoke. After a week or two I gave in to the craving and immediately regretted it. A half a cig later it was pure agony. It was then that I started to look for things to help me understand this vaping thing. I remember wading through so much crap on YOUTUBE. Then I found your video, The Beginners Guide To E-Cigs and E-Cig Tech. At first I was leery, then I listened, really listened, and watched. The passion with which you talk about vaping drew me in. Believe it or not you remind me a lot of my dad in your look, mannerisms and knowledge. Ever since then I have been vaping full time. After three months my doctor considers me a non smoker. My lungs have cleared up dramatically. The doc says my chest x rays are like a night and day difference. In that time I have recovered almost 80% of my lung functions. The doc won’t say it from a medical standpoint, but she has expressed on a personal level, that the only thing she can think of that has brought about this change is the switch from smoking to vaping. Though I still have innumerable blood clots running through my system and am on loads of medication, I breathe better than I have in years. Two weeks ago I got my first VV / VW mod, the itaste SVD. I love it. My vaping experience has never been better and soon I plan to start on my first rebuildable atomizer. I can’t imagine smoking another cigarette. I sit here writing this with tears running down my face. I can’t express my gratitude enough. YOU HELPED SAVE MY LIFE! One day I hope to meet you in person and tell you face to face, give you a hug and say thank you. The work you do is more important than you realize. Everyday I wake up and thank God, my girlfriend and Phil Busardo.
Humbly yours,
Matt

Hi Phil. For what it’s worth I just want to say Thank You. I smoked 2 packs a day for more than 36 years and took my very first vape on 4 November 2009. I put my cigs in a drawer and have not touched one since. I have honestly enjoyed so many of your videos and pretty much accept your opinion as my own. I’ve made many 3.7 and 5 volt mods for myself, tried all the tricks with the attys and cartos and tanks and recently upped my game with a few Viva Nova’s and even better with a couple of Kanger Protank 2’s. I’ve had a Provari for a couple of years now and your reviews of a few variable wattage devices convinced me to purchase a new Vamo V2 and it should be here Monday. I enjoy your humor and the way you explain technical things makes it very easy to understand.
Please know that your time, efforts and expenses do not go unappreciated. I am only one of perhaps thousands of your followers and I would like to meet you and shake your hand one day. Again, Thank You for all you do.
Steve

Dear Phil I hope you don’t mind me writing you but I felt it was very important to me to tell you what you mean to me. I am 59 yrs old and have been smoking since I was 15. Like thousands of us I have tried multiple times and multiple methods of trying to stop. In 1995 I was diagnosed with diabetes and in 2001 I was involved in a very bad accident in the ocean which resulted in both of my feet getting cut up severely. Over the following 6 years I had 6 surgeries 4 on my left foot and 2 on my right foot including the amputation of my middle toe on my left foot. Throughout this time period Doctors were urging me to stop smoking as cigarettes were directly involved with my body not being able to heal very well as well as affecting circulation on my feet. I developed Neuropathy in both feet OH I forgot to mention I also had a spinal fusion on my lower back which developed into scoliosis. In 2009 I had to stop working after 27 yrs as a Social Worker. I could hardly walk any longer and mentally I was beyond depressed. In 5 yrs I gained 135 lbs, I was extremely involved in sports, played football in high school and college , Tennis, i even played basketball in a men’s over 40 basketball league and all of this came to an end and I was basically in a wheelchair and I kept smoking. In May 2011 I had my right leg amputated and because I could not return to my apartment due to stairs I had to wait until an apartment that was wheelchair friendly was found. I got out of the Rehab facility and moved into my new apartment August 2012. Mind you the entire time I was in the Rehab facility I could not smoke and after14 months of not smoking I bought a pack of cigarettes on the way to my new apartment. I was worse then a crack addict. I would cry every night because I felt i was just waiting to die, I forgot to mention that during my amputation my heart stopped for 90seconds. Anyway I hated myself I hated my life and I couldn’t even see what I did have. The apartment I moved into is in a section of NYC called Far Rockaway on the 17th floor facing the ocean, It is beautiful, I come from Brooklyn so this set up is quite a lot different but *I was too busy dying to notice, Then about 7 or 8 weeks ago I was hearing about E cigarettes so I decided to go on you tube to see what I can see. All I knew was mi didn’t want to get involved with these offers for a free pack and then having my account tapped into each month nope it sounded like a rip off and I felt that this e cig thing was all BS. So I went on You Tube and a bunch of videos popped up. I noticed this guy who looked just like a sweet dear friend of mine Butch who passed away a few yrs back from Cancer so I watched his video, Then I watched another video and I said to myself wow this guy is is coming off very honest with his opinions plus as a social worker of 27 yrs i feel that i have a pretty good judge when it comes to people. This guy without knowing it was guiding me through a pure jungle of e cigs and liquids and on and on and on I was so confused in the beginning. Being on a fixed income my finances are very limited and so were my choices. My 1qst attempt was prosmokes and I bought cigarettes that same day as prosmokes just didn’t cut it. The company I tried next with the money I had available was Halo. Well I liked it and it turned out that I have not had a cigarette since but what was key in my success was watching this guy’s videos and so regardless of what brand I chose it was about the support i got watching this guy’s videos, Phi as you know this guy was you. I regret I am unable to attend one of these vapefests or any other gatherings but I have to just tell you that you SAVED MY LIFE. I might never understand the technical aspects of vaping but even though I am just sitting here at my computer I feel as though I am part of a community, a community of what I can tell a bunch of wonderful people. Phil with tears in my eyes and from the bottom of my heart You really played a major role in saving my life. NOTHING not even almost losing my life got me to stop smoking. You and your passion and your honesty got me to vape and stop smoking. Thank You Please don’t take this wrong but I Love you for being who you are. If I had one wish it would be to meet people like yourself in person. I know this is a very long and rambling message but again I just needed to express to you what you have done for me, you gave me my life back with your passion God Bless you.
I just wanted to wish you a wonderful weekend. I am enjoying laughing and learning
watching your videos. You have rekindled some zest that I have lost over these past
few years and I thank You. Understanding things like Voltage and wattage and ohms
are just the things that drove me right into Human Services but I am actually
understanding more about those things then I ever thought I would thanks to your
videos and teaching style. Regardless of how long it takes I shall continue to put
a little bit aside each month towards my next advancement in a Vaping devise. You
have my heartfelt Thanks. I remain Grateful that I found your videos on you tube.
From what can tell from other people’s stories it is extremely apparent that you
have had a lot of positive impact on people’s lives. You are a very special person
to many of us out here. God Bless you and yours
